                      MY REVIEW 

 The fires have started again and it is the last thing Bethany Sayers wanted to do is head back home . She is hunting a spirit but who knew that this spirit was a child who is on a rampage . She also didn't think that she would be running into the man that she left so many years ago at the orphanage . Todd Rollins is a fire investigator and good at his job . He follows the science but when Bethany comes back into his life after seventeen years . She tells him what is going on and he believes her . Now if it was anyone else he would laugh them right out of town . He will help her out anyway he can even if that means going to the depths of hell to help her . Once he has her though will he let go or will they be destined to be together for ever or will he loose her again . 

 Ok ladies lets dish about these characters. I really liked them Bethany is intelligent , strong and no nonsense . She has been trained for what she does and does it well . She is all business and really kind of stand offish at the beginning . Until she gets together with Todd and we see old bonds forming again and the love growing from the time they were together in the orphanage . Todd is a man of science , he is very intelligent and actually good looking to boot . There is a sadness to him also , you really feel it when he is with Bethany . They honestly both have a kind of sadness that is hidden . I like the character development through out the book they seem to get a little more complex as you read . 

  This is one of those books that you can sit down and read in an evening . The author has a style of writing that will have you on the edge of your seat most of the time . We have in this story some mystery and ghosts , angels and there are some sexy times . I will admit it took me a couple of chapters to really get into the book , the first chapter had me a bit confused . When i got to chapter three I was hooked and couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed this book and now I can't wait to see where the author takes the characters in the next book . So if you want a good read for your Super bowl read check it out .

                       MY REVIEW 

 Armando has been living in the closet for most of his life . He married his best friend and confidante Marta . When she passes away things change for Armando he is free to live his life but is scared to do so . So he goes on one last cruise where he can be himself and live free as a gay man . He wasn't looking for something serious but in walks Lyndon and the attraction is so powerful that they spend every moment together on the cruise . Is ten days enough time to create the bond that will take them where they want to be when they get back to reality or will it all come crashing down around them .

  Armando and Lyndon oh what can we say about them . Armando is a distinguished older man who we meet at the worst time of his life at the funeral of his wife and best friend . We see him at his worst and at his best as he comes to the realization that he can live his life the way his wife wanted him to . We really get to see him literally blossom and become confidant in his actions and his love . Lyndon is a strong man who has had the best relationship with his parents and they were there for him . But there is a bit of sadness to both these characters as they both have had so many hardships in their lives . Armando's is a family that is homophobic and highly religious and won't stand for a gay man in their lives . Lyndon has been fighting against a crazy stalker ex boy friend .I love how they can be stronger together then apart . There is one more character that really needs mentioning and that is Lyndon's mom . She is a pistol packing momma that doesn't take no for an answer . The Miguel the father n law of  Armando's well he is a little more on their side then Armando reallizes . He really puts those women in their place . You will see when you read . The characters are well written and complex just the way I like them . 

  This is more then a romance book , it has really sweet moments and there is some intrigue to it . It also tackles a little bit on religion and homophobias that happen in a very religious family. The author takes us on a very emotional ride and we empathize with the characters . For such a short book there is a lot going on and for a moment or two I kind of felt lost in all the happenings that were going on . But I did find my way back and truly enjoyed this book and want to see what other books she has out . So if you like m/m books full of sweet moments and lots of angst check it out.

                MY REVIEW 

 Esther is a young Jewish woman with the world by tail . She had a great fiancé and her family was happy . Until the day that the Nazis started to invade and things went horribly wrong . She is sent of  to finishing school and when she gets home her family is gone without a trace . They just vanished deported to heavens know where . Something snaps in Esther and gone is the gentle girl that wanted the world . She joins the Norwegian resistance fighters . All she wants is to find her family and revenge for those she lost . With her heart hardened she goes about helping the resistance . Her heart is hardened and she doesn't know if she can ever love again . Not even her rock can break through the ice . Will she be able to find love again or will she be hardened to love forever . 

  Omg this is one of those books that you fall in love with the main characters from the very beginning . We met Esther in book three and I loved her feistiness from then and in her book her strength is amazing . She is one tough cookie and you know you want to be her when you grow up . Tore Helberg well we first met him he was just having a fun ski retreat . We didn't really get to know him until we find him fighting for the resistance . He is strong but he does have a sweet side when it comes to Esther. There are so many different characters that you will love in this book . They are are so well written and complex . 

 This is one of these books that you don't have to read the other books to know what is going on .  I sat down and read this book in a weekend , I couldn't put it down the author took me on an emotional roller coaster ride . There were moments where there were tears rolling down my cheeks . I love how the story is based during World War II and the author paints a vision what what it would be like back then .  I am truly loving the writing style of this author and will read more from her . So if you like books with history , romance and tough female characters . Check it out I promise i will not be disappointed .
