  Well it is already Wednesday , I have lost a day because this past weekend was a long weekend so we had Monday off . So to me it really feels like a Tuesday but enough of that . Today I have for you book 17 in the Haven Hollow series .  RAISING CAIN  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain

Why? Because I’ve been hired to let some uptight, flat-tire of a copper named Cain Morgan possess me so he can finish working a case that got stalled when he got bumped off a year or so ago.

As if that weren’t enough to ruin a broad’s day, guess what? There’s more.

This case I gotta work with Cain; it’s a murder case—a double one. And that no good perp is still out there!

I ain’t about to risk my second life (after the first one ended so tragic), but it’s looking like I also ain’t got much of a choice.

                     MY REVIEW 

 Darla is well she is alive and kicking again , after Wanda turned her back into a living breathing woman her life is well getting sticky. She has to get a job to pay her way and what does she do but when she gets hooked up at the Spooky Society. Where her connection to the other side she will be valuable . When she gets hired she has to work with Cain Morgan a police office who possesses her and now they have to solve a double homicide . She doesn't want to risk her second life but will she survive to see another day. 

  Oh my god these characters are so much fun to read . Darla  is hilarious as she tries to navigate her way through this world . She is feisty and sassy and really puts her talents to the test . She is also a cheeky wench that throws around her 1920s slang all day long . Cain well he is a man who wants to get the job done , even though he isn't really here . He is straight laced comes off as grouchy most of the time. They are stuck with each other literallyas he is possessing her . Which honestly makes for some hilarious situations in Darla's life . These characters are well written and you will love them. 

 This I think might be one of the funniest books in this series . Darla alone is such a hoot and the things that come out of her mouth will make you laugh so hard . The authors really made Darla likable in this book . I started this book and couldn't put it down . The authors really take us on a fun filled ride . There are moments in the book that I had to think about what Darla said because her 20s slang took a min to understand but once I got it the book flew by . The Haven Hollow series just keeps getting better and better . So if you want a fun filled read check it out

  Good evening all , wow its been busy here over the last week . So I am posting this in the evening . Today I have  the 4th book in the Blood Knight Chronicles series . IMMORTAL REDEEMED by Linda Thomas - Sundstrom .

                       MY REVIEW 

  Kellan Ladd has been hunting for the one person that can end his long life . He is an immortal and has been living for centuries as part of the Blood  Knights . He is being pulled towards Mckenna Randall , the one woman who might be the ancient soul that could put an end to him.  She isn't really sure about the sexy leather clad Harley riding man . There is something there that is stirring up feelings that have her doubting that if she should believe what he is saying and that she is this powerful being or should she fall in love with him inspite of the fact she could kill him at anytime . 

 Omg the characters in this book are amazing . Kellan well he is so sexy and such an alpha male . He is a vampire and a protector of humans from what goes bump in the night . Wow there are things that go bump in the night through out this book . He is lonely though and you can feel it on the pages . He is the type of man you want protecting you from all the bumps in the night . I really like him out of all the knights he is the one that feels and wants to have a life that doesn't include all the blood shed.  Mckenna is well she is a fighter , first she was a cop who got shot in the line of duty and now she a nurse .She is feisty and strong, she stands along side Kellan fighting the things that want to kill her . They are one of those couples that you will love from the very first time you meet them in the book . They are complex and well written and you feel like you know them . 

   This is one of those books that you get sucked into from the very beginning . The first meeting of the hero is on a harley speeding towards Seattle and not for coffee either . The author has the tension built up by the second chapter and you want to see where this couple is going to take us. There is so much going on through out the book , there are monsters , secrets, steamy times and soo much more that goes on through out the book. I really love this series each book is all alpha and hunting for the person that can save them So if you want a series that will keep you entertained all the way through check it out and check out the BLOOD KNIGHTS  series .

  Good morning peeps , well it is a long weekend here in Canada and yes we are having all the seasons in one weekend . Had snow fall last night but it didn't stick so it will be a great weekend to read . So I have the second book in the Here to There series . THE FARAWAY CROWN by Hp |Mallory and J.R Rain .

                     MY REVIEW 

  After being attacked by people who really want her dead Elle is rescued by a dashing First lander named Patch . They are on the run trying to find their friends . When they are captured again but for nefarious reasons . They are put on display and watched while they go about their day in the lavish room they are put in , While their friends are fighting their own battle to get to Elle. Sasha teams up with Doyle one of the best swordsmen in all of the land . Will they get to Elle before the best assassin in the land finds her and murders her . 

 The characters are vast and varied . Elle is the typical damsel in distress who is just wanting the man she is betrothed to to find her .  I really tried to like her but she just comes off as a naive sometimes whiny girl who needs to grow a back bone . Sasha is well she is one kick butt character she is the warrior that will do anything to get back to Elle.  She is determined and single minded in what she needs to do .  Patch is to me like a swashbuckler who is mysterious and you really want to find out more about him . There are so many characters that come and go that are all well written . 

 This is the second book in the series and started where the first book left off .  The authors  really paint a picture of these lands and the people in them . There is so much that is going on you will have a fun time reading . I will admit i did struggle at the beginning of this book . Elle and I just didn't get along I just couldn't really enjoy her at the start but as I read the book I really got sucked in by chapter 4 . The characters are well written and the authors are taking them on such a fun journey . This is a series that is such a fun fantasy series for those young people in your life . So check it out

  Good afternoon everyone today I have a new author and his ya book . Lets check out HORSE SENSE

                    MY REVIEW 

 Jamie and acorn were the best of friends a young boy and his horse . Acorn knows all Jamie's secrets and doesn't judge him at all . When Jamie helps defend a young boy he feels like he doesn't belong . He doesn't fee like he belongs anywhere but when his class mates are hurt by the teacher that is suppose to be teaching them . Between his bad home life and the class mates that want to hurt him . He really discovers who are his friends and who loves him the most.

The characters are so realistic and I love Jamie he is such a sweet young boy who has been through so much in his young life . His home life is not the best but he has the love of his mom who would do anything to keep him safe and loved . To Acorn the horse that is his best friend . He is such a strong moral character that is trying hard to belong . We get to see him realize who really is on his side . There are a lot of characters that come in and out of Jamie's life . I truly loved these characters especially Acorn .

This is one of those ya books that you really start out and startreading and next thing you know you are done . The characters are so realistic and complex and they really get under your skin. The author paints a picture of the unconditional love between a boy and his horse . The ups and downs their life together . This book had me crying through out and my heart broke at one point . The author tells a good story and I loved the story . So if you want to read a good story about unconditional love check it out

                     MY REVIEW 

 Dylan Grace has been through a lot and has paid the price . But he is back and doesn't want to become a rock cliche . He has done his time in rehab and wants to just get back to making music. His bandmates have a different idea they want him back but they want him to stay on the straight and narrow so they hire him a life coach  The one person that if she wanted to she could bring him to his knees . Dani is the one person that can keep Dylan on the straight and narrow . There is a past between the two of them that they can't deny the feelings that are stirring underneath the surface. With sex off the table and Dylan put in the friend zone can they really deny the feelings they have and will there be heartbreak for both of them and will Gracefall get the new record recorded . 

 Ok I am just going to say this once yes i squealed when I found out that Dylan was getting his own book .I love  Dylan and Dani . Dylan has had such a hard childhood and has drown himself in booze and drugs to survive . That made him the life of the party but also that rocker cliche where it took an overdose to settle him down . When you start reading his story you see a hurt little boy behind the facade of the rock star . He may come off as a sexy alpha man deep down inside he is scared to give his heart to anyone because he doesn't want to be hurt and abandoned again by the people who supposedly loved him. Dani has had to live the perfect straight as arrow life with her parents who are soap stars . She has had to hide parts of her from everyone even her friends . You really get to see her , she is stronger then we first see . She is feisty and also guarded with her feelings . She just wants to be loved and to love the man who has her heart for so long . You also see her when she doubts herself when an ex of Dylan's comes back into their lives . They both grow up through out the book and we find out so much about why Dylan is the way he is . We also get to see more of the Gracefall guys and their significant others .  I truly love these characters they are very well written and each character is complex . 

  This is one of those books that start off with a bang and boy do i mean a bang . The author does the opening scene in typical rocker style . I read this book in an evening and I was sucked in by the end of chapter one well just because Dylan has always been one of my favourite characters .  There were plenty of laughs and misunderstandings through out this book . There were moments where I really wanted to slap Dylan upside the head with a frying pan and then there were moments that I wanted to hug both of the main characters and tell them that everything will be ok. This is a fast read that has a lot of ups and downs and you will love each and every page . I can't wait to see who the next book will be about I am crossing my fingers it is going to be Tyler's story . So if you want a great series about rock and roll but more about family check out this series . I promise it will add some fire to your summer reading list ,

   Michael is working hard on his recovery . He has sworn to stay away from sex and booze . It has been a cake walk for awhile until the day Chase walked into the the AA meeting and sets Michaels heart a fire but will Michael fall for the lip glossed twink that has him reconsidering his lonely life . Will they be able to able to find the love that they both deserve or will Michael head down the road that will lead him to ruin.

  Michael and Chase are such tortured characters, Michael has been through so much in his past that he has paid for and now he is keeping his life on track . He comes off as a rough man who is always trying to pick up guys . He is a sweet guy with a heart of gold and is paying for the sins of his past . Chase is the exact opposite of Michael, he is sweet and all out there from his skinny jeans to the lip gloss he wears . They are total opposites but some how they fit together like a glove . They are so well written and each of them have a complexity that make them unique and lovable . 

  i was so excited when I hurt Michael was getting his own story .  He was such a fun character to read in the other books . So I got this book and read it in an evening . The author really ramped up sexual tension in this novella . She takes us on a very emotional roller coaster ride in such a short book . I really like this series the characters are well written and you will fall in love with all of them . There is one thing I wish that is was just a little longer . Over all I truly enjoyed this book and this whole series . So check it out if youwant a sweet sexy story .

 Well we made it to May and it is finally warming up out on the farm . Today I have book sixteen in the Haven Hollow series . HERRINGBONE HEXES  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain

  Wanda and the gang are back and this time it is to confront her mother but first they have to form a coven . And what a motely crew they are .  Wanda must come to terms with her past and what is happening with her mother and what has happened to the warlocks in the past . So with the help of Poppy , Astrid and the rest of the gang are there to help fight . Will they be the winners in an a battle that might kill them all . 

 Wanda and the gang are back and funnier then ever. Wanda is better and stronger then ever she is really coming into her own. She is one feisty witch . I love how Poppy has become a big part of the series and I love how they have entwined both stories . The characters are well written and complex and growing with each story .

 This is a fun fast read that will have you laughing, the authors have really built a strong group of characters that just continue to grow and become more and more complex . I truly love this series . I read this story in an evening and laughed my way through it . I can't wait to see where the authors take these characters even with the twist at the end . So if you want a great series and want a fun read check it out .
