                    MY REVIEW

 When Hades, the God of the Underworld is out trying to calm his raging heart. He comes a cross a paradise and a woman who stills his black heart.  A sweet goddess who just wants a life of her own and a man who will love only her. When Persephone, a sweet goddess who just wants a life of her own and to be out of her mother's shadow and not to marry the god her mother picked out for her.  She meets Hades and her life changes as he abducts her and hides her in the Underworld. Where she fights and figures out that Hades is more then the devil that they make him out to be. Will the love they are forming be able to keep them together or will the darkness and a mother's manipulation keep them apart. 

   Hades and Persephone have always been characters that I feel have been underrated in story telling.  Hades is a dark man who only knows the depths of hell but underneath that there is a man that is looking for love that he can have as his own. He is sexy and when he can he can be sweet and kind, Persephone is lightness and she is sweet and kind but there is a dark side to her that is just waiting to be woken up. They go together they are the both sides of the same coin. They bring out the best in each other and Hades will burn down the world for her.

  This is a really good retelling of Hades and Persephone story. The author takes them on with a great twist as an enemies to lovers romance. The characters are well written and complex and we really get to see the characters behind the iconic god and goddess.  The author takes us on such a ride there is so much emotion that come from the two main characters. You will love them and there are moments  you will want to slap Hades or hug both of them. If you want a book where there is no real hero but a villain that will burn down the world to save his love. This is the book for you, check it out .

   Good morning peeps, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and had some great books to read. I have for you today, BITE OF THE GARGOYLE  by Hp Mallory and JR Rain

                   MY REVIEW 

   Jo is a hired gun, she is a monster hunter and when hired by a town to get rid of the monster that is terrorizing them She comes back to her past and the dark man that killed her family. There is a dangerous man that she feels like she knows from the past but can't put a finger on where and when, These aren't your ordinary vampires, this one can shift into a gargoyle. Now she finds herself a prisoner again, she has to choose get help from the one man who could hurt her in more ways then just taking her life or will she have her vengeance. 

   Well I must say that the characters in this book are original in a way that they have mixed the gargoyle and vampire myths successfully.  Derith and Balor are opposites in so many ways. Derith  comes off as a beast but Balor is the real beast through out the book.  Joe is a tough girl who can fight with the best of them . There is a secret that Jo has but she doesn't even realize it until with Dearth.  Each character is well written and complex. Jo will make you cheer for her and Dearth is swoon worthy and Balor you just want to well use your imagination. 

  This is one of those stories that will have you on the edge of your seat by the end of chapter 2. The characters are well written and complex and you will either love them or hate them depending on the chapter you are on.   This a stand alone book will have you on the edge of your seat and swooning at the same time . If you want a a fantasy romance book , yes  there is romance through out the book. Check it out you will have a fun time reading .

HAPPY RELEASE WEEK

  Good morning peeps hope you are having a great week and finding some great reads. Today I have for you book 17 in the Hot Damned series A FASHIONABLE DISASTER by Robyn Peterman.

They’re the least of my problems right now. At the wise suggestion of my beloved mate, I indulge in a little retail therapy so I don’t dismember the pissed off crew of greedy Vamps who don’t want to pay their fair share.

Martha and Jane want to ride in the cart.

Adding my untrustworthy, homicidal sister to the mix might end in catastrophe, but it’s a case of the Devil made me do it.

Disaster has struck again, but I’ll handle it on my terms—fashionably and with no mercy. May the best Vamp stay awake long enough to win… and let it be me.

                     MY REVIEW

  Astrid and Ethan are back with Martha and the rest of the gang. When Ethan is put in a sleep like trance from the most boring enemy ever . It is up to Astrid and the gang to figure how to wake up the vampires. Target shopping is on hold and the hunt is on, will they be able to find out how to wake the vamps and will they survive . 

   Astrid and the gang are back and honestly funnier then ever. Astrid has grown into her  role as compassion but she has to put on her big girl panties and figure out what is going on and how to fix it . She has come a long way since the beginning. Martha and Jane are back and funnier then ever. Vinnie is sweet and wanting to help find out what is happening.  We also get to meet Astrid's sister who is trying to redeem herself and also new vampires that suck the energy out of you which are boring everyone to basically sleep. These characters are well written and you fall in love all of them. 

  This is the 17 book in the series but the story gets funnier and funnier . The author is one funny writer who can put her characters in any situation and make it funny. This is a fast read and I laughed so hard at what the author put the characters through. I really like this series and can't wait till the next book. So if you want a fun fast read that will have you splitting a gut laughing . Check out this series.

  Good morning my peeps  hope your weekend has gone well and you all got some good reading done . Today I have for you book 3 in the Wolves of Valhalla, WOLVES OF ASGARD  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

                      MY REVIEW 

  Jovi and the rest are on a mission to find Freya and get her on board to help fight Odin and end the forever winter covering the earth. There are many obstacles in their way to try and set them of course. Along with the battles from Odin's minions there are internal struggles that they must overcome  Will they be able to come together and fight Odin and end the winter or will they have winter for all times. 

  These characters have become such a fun bunch to read . We have Jovi who is very strong willed and wants to find Freya to end the winter . We find some things about Jovi. Even though she is feisty and ready to kick butt. We find out more about her and what she can do. Torsten. Skarde and Frycat are back and fighting along side Jovi. They are wonderful characters that are well written and complex You will get really involved with them from the start. 

   This is an action packed book from the start, you get pulled into the story from chapter one . The authors have painted a bleak picture of winter and the cold and wonderful characters. I know when I started this series I was kind of on the fence with characters but as the series grew so did my love for the characters. They grew and became more complex.  This book had all the action and some surprises that will have you on the edge of your seat. The epilogue will have you relaxing and realizing that life goes on and the sun will come out and make things better . This is one of those series that will have you hooked and loving each book.  Check it out .

  Three tales of shapeshifters and their mates at the first meeting. Watching their enemies as their enemies try and take them down. Sometimes they have to work face to face to realize that sometimes you are fighting for love on top of everything else. 

In First Moon. we meet Nikki and Johnathan.  

Nikki is a werewolf hunter who is on a mission to clean up Miami. One hot Miami night things change when handsome Johnathan walks into her life after she has been attacked. Johnathan was torn in saving her and the rules with his pack. Will they be able to save themselves and realize that there is more out there for them. 

 In Wolf in the City we meet Kit and Jared

  Kit is a vampire who is on the hunt and Jared is a werewolf who one night meet and have been hunting the same things that are killing humans in Miami. They are instantly attracted to each other but being different species they are suppose to be mortal enemies. They feel the attraction but are working hard to deny the attraction. They are fated to be but will they finally realize what they could be. 

In Dark Wolf we meet Carson and Randa

 Carson is a werewolf and a cop and he hides in plain site. Randa is a mystery he wants to unravel. She is special and is lock away because she is a rebel and kept under lock and key until the one person comes for her. Every night Carson visits her and watches and wishes that Randa could be his. The passion is undeniable and when they meet when they find out that they are destined the sparks fly.

     This set of novellas shows a peek into the world of Miami werewolves and the women who have them wrapped around their fingers.  I totally love the stories it shows a glimpse into the lives that they have . Each set of characters are well written and complex and you will love them very much. I feel that the glimpse into the lives really shows the complexity of each story and when you dive in you will be sucked in and won't be able to put the book down. So if you want a taste of the Miami Werewolves check it out .

                   MY REVIEW

   The creators of the Missing link app are wanting to find their third but they are having no luck at all. Rhett and Ashton have it all a successful business and they love each other . But. there is something missing from their lives. Until the day Skylar walks into their lives and turns everything upside down and shakes up their lives . After a disastrous date that leads to her being homeless Ashton brings her home and Rhett is not exactly happy about it. Aston is falling hard for the red headed beauty but Rhett is a harder nut to crack. When something happens and both Rhett and Skylar have to come to the realization that they both love Ashton and Rhett has to let go and be vulnerable to both of them and realize that there is room for both Ashton and Skylar into his heart. 

  Ok lets talk Rhett and Ashton, Ashton is the sweetest guy ever. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is so loving and kind but there is a sadness to him from his childhood. He is like a ray of sunshine . Rhett is mor stoic and doesn't trust very much, he has had a hard childhood which now as a man he can't trust very many people. He was taught not to show emotion and to be strong. Which now has mad him very hard and kind of jaded. They truly love each other and Rhett will do anything to make Ashton happy. Skylar is a whirlwind and well a ray of sunshine in their life. She feels like that she doesn't belong anywhere because she is scatterbrained and can't sit still because she has ADHD. She is a sweet girl who wants to be loved and to love the men in her life. She had a horrible childhood on the farm and her family is really not nice to her. She fits in with the men perfectly. 

  This is an emotional read that will take you on a rollercoaster ride.  The way that Rhett and Ashton meet will just break your heart.  They are together through thick and thin and when Skylar comes into their lives there is jealousy and trying times for everyone . This is a story that will have you laughing and crying and honestly wanting to slap a couple of heads. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone . So if you like mmf with a great story and undying love check it out .

   Good day and welcome to the first post of 2023. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years. Today I have for you the last book in the Lily Harper series. THE FINAL BATTLE by Hp Mallory.

   Lily and the gang are gearing up for one last battle, after finding out the Afterlife enterprise has moved out to the kingdom. Lily, Tallis, Bill and everyone else is getting ready for the fight of their lives. Alaire is mounting his own army and when they throw in The Forsaken things are stacking up against them. Will they be able to stop Alaire or will they be swallowed up by the void. 

  I am so excited to have Lily and the gang back, they are like a group of old friends that you can dive into and be greeted . Lily is one really tough cookie and is finally comfortable with herself and her love for Tallis. She knows who has her back and will fight to the death for her friends. She has grown up so much from the first book. I truly love her and her growth . Tallis well he is still hot and sexy as ever. He is a warrior and will fight for Lily and he is also fodder for angel Bill . These two butt heads so much but truly they both love and care for Lily. Tallis has actually loosened up from his first books and has grown into the man any woman would love to be in love with. Now lets talk Angel Bill, I love him. He is an angel but most of the time he is crazy, foul mouthed guy who well gets into trouble or attracts trouble where ever he goes. He so reminds me of your fav uncle that gets you into trouble at the drop of a hat and you want to hate him but he gets under your skin and you love him. There are so many characters new and old that have grown up in the series.  They are wonderful characters that you will fall in love with . 

  This was the first series that brought me to this author, I laughed my way through their adventures and this one was no exception. The author has a fun way of writing that takes you on an adventure with emotion and laughter. I was sucked into the story it was such a fitting end to an epic story line. The ending was perfect and was well written . I am sad that the series is ending but very happy on how it ended. There were a lot of laughs and a few tears and some romance along the way. So if you want a great series based in the Underworld check it out. I promise you will not be disappointed.
