                    MY REVIEW 

   Bree Leigh Blackwell is a doctor who has devoted her life to helping others, is having some mommy issues lately. I mean who wouldn't when her mother is the goddess of Death. Bree went against her mothers rules of saving people when it comes to saving her favourite niece . When she finally realizes what it means to be the daughter of death will it be too late to save her sisters and herself from the wrath of Death or will one act of love save her and her family from loosing one more person. 

     I love the characters in this novella, they have a mixture of other worldly angels . demons. Gypsies and goddess. Bree is a special woman who straddles the world of life and death. She is a little bit of a workaholic but when it comes to her family she is there to help them. Even if they are products of other worldly people. She does have a blind spot for her nieces and can't help but do what ever she can to keep them safe . Even if it means defying her mother, she does seem to be reckless sometimes but also she comes off very naive over her family history and what it means to be the daughter of Death. She is a very complicated woman trying to work her way through her life . Morgan well she is the goddess of Death and well she can be loving but also kind of ruthless when it comes to teaching her daughter the right and wrong of what she is doing . She is a caring woman who is wanting things right within her world and wants to follow the rules of life and death. We also have so many characters with in the story that well really push what happens between Angels and Demons and old world and new world traditions and beliefs . Each character is well written complex 

  This is a novella from an author that is new to me. I was instantly sucked into the story , I love stories that entwine old and new worlds and how they can survive together with magic. I truly enjoyed and I really liked the characters . I read this book in about an hour and a half . It would be a great book to read on a nice day sitting on th patio with a drink in hand . Just be warned you will be sucked in and turning pages until you are done. Check it out
