   Good morning my peeps , I hope you had a great weekend and the last day of March is good to you. Today I have a new book from Linda Thomas - Sundstrom. PLACES OF POWER. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book. the paperback is out today and the kindle copy comes out April 2.

                       MY REVIEW 

 Morgan is living out her father's dream of heading to England and continuing his research on King Arthur.  When a chance meeting with John MacQuarrie at Tintagel send Morgan on a trip to the past that she might not come back from. She has been hearing voices on the wind , which compels her to dive deeper into the past and her research . But, those whispers are also hinting of what is coming and what has happened  Will the whispers of the past take Morgan away or will the man who truly cares for her keep her grounded in the present. 

   This is a book that has such strong characters . Morgan and John are two of those characters . Morgan is honestly having a hard time she is grieving her father and wants to finish his research on King Arthur. She is a strong woman with conviction to her past and the past she wants to study. But there were moments where she is naive of the things that are going on around her. She is torn between two worlds and is basically fighting for her very life. John is a mystery, he is the strong silent type of man. He is drawn to Morgan in a way that is strange for both of them. He feels like he knows Morgan from a past and is drawn to her in so many ways. We also get to meet Irwin and Lewis, Irwin has a secret that he is keeping and he is like everyone's father. He does take a shining to Morgan and treats her like a daughter . Wanting to take care of her . Lewis is a paranormal scientist that is interested in ley lines and how the power in the ley lines and now Morgan. Each character is very well written and complex . You will really get to know them and want to protect them as they fight the ghosts and get some answers from the past. 

   This is one of those books that when you sit down to read the first chapter you are hooked. The author paints such a brilliant picture of places that are parts of history . I loved reading about Stone hedge and Tintagel and what the past happened in those areas . She writes a great story weaving fiction in with the historical places and events . This is one those books that will transport you to another place and time with such ease.  I truly enjoyed this story very much . This would make a great book for your summer reading list. Check it out I know you will not be disappointed .
