I AM BACK

  Good morning peeps , I am back after resting my brain after reader round up. Today I have for you book 2 in the Bewitching Books series NARRATIVE NIGHTMARES by Hp Mallory

I thought running my bookstore, Bewitched Books, was complicated enough.  Between managing a bookstore with a magical shelf that brings literary characters to life and dealing with all the people who are after said magic, my hands were already full. 

Then he walked in—Lord Byron himself, a man who’s beyond seductive, but I’m pretty sure he has a dark agenda and a smile that makes my heart forget to beat.

As if that weren't enough, blood-drained victims are turning up all over Laurel Falls with no memory of what happened to them.

I'd turn to Heath, my protective (and admittedly hot) business partner—yes, the Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights—but his jealousy is reaching dangerous levels.

Not to mention Rox is falling hard for Byron's exotic companion, making objective decisions nearly impossible.

Now I'm caught in a supernatural game spanning centuries, with Egyptian mythology, enchanted books, and danger swirling around me.

And the worst part? I can't tell if my attraction to Byron is real or if I'm just another pawn in his schemes.

One thing's certain—some books are never meant to be opened, and some desires are never meant to be quenched.

But telling the difference between safe and sorry might cost me everything. 

                     MY REVIEW 

   El and Rox are back and working hard at Bewitching Books and boy things have heated up . Between running the store and managing the magical book shelf that brings literary characters to life El has her hands full someone is going around attacking people and drinking blood from them . In walks Lord Byron and his companion . Oh and don't forget Dill, Edgar and a mystery man after the books in Eliot's magic shelf. Things are just getting weirder and weirder. She can't talk to Heath about it well cause his jealousy is showing . So El and Rox are going to figure out what is going on and trying to stay safe while doing it . 

    El and Rox are really trying to figure out this magic shelf thing . El is well not having the best time of her life . She is trying real hard to keep everything kosher. When she feels like she had it all together but boom something magical happens to throw everything in chaos. She is strong but the one person she can talk to is well being a big baby. She tries hard but sometimes things just don't go as planned. Rox is her best friend and has a deep understanding of Egypt and its mythology. She is a no nonsense kind of woman who is so sweet and under estimated person out there, She watches every thing and figures out what is happening before anyone else does .  Now Heath well he showed up but then ran away . He really annoyed me in this book. He well acted like a jealous child and ran away . I will say that each character becomes more and more complex and are well written . Which lets us like them more and more. 

    This is a fun book to read , the author has entwined a good vampire story with book characters of literary classics .  There are so many secrets and lies that come to lie in the book which they try and figure out with comic outcomes sometimes . I am loving this series , it is very character driven and the characters are well written and you will love them. They will make you laugh so hard and then other times you want to just slap them upside the head and shake them and tell them to get it together . So if you want a fun magical series check it out .
