ITS TIME FOR BOOK THREE IN THE NOVELS OF READER ROUND UP

  Good afternoon my peeps I hope that you are all taking it easy . I can't believe that summer is half over . I hope you are all finding some good summer reads . Today I have another new author to me Dana Mason and her book FINDING BAILEY ( A Lake Tahoe Romance book )

                     MY REVIEW

  Bailey is mourning the death of her parents, she is working hard at trying to not let their deaths overwhelm them.  Ryan is her best friend and well he loves her but can't get out of the friend zone for now . Until the day she finds out that she was adopted but she could be a missing child that was lost when she was a baby .  When things go from bad to worse the man she was dating is hiding a secret and she breaks up with him . Until the day that she is kidnapped and her life is ripped apart . Will Ryan and the gang find her before she is gone for good and will she be able to come to terms with her new life and the love that is standing right in front of her . 

    This is a story that has some really good characters . Bailey is a young woman who has a lot going for her . She has great friends and a good job and she had a great childhood . When she finds out that she was adopted she shows that she is up for whatever is going on to find out the truth. She is a little bombshell , she may act like she needs help but she is stronger then you know and will blow you away when things get tough. Ryan is the sweetest guy and he is there for Bailey for what every she needs and when push comes to shove he will move the world to find her and keep her safe . Along with her friends they have a great family unit and they would do anything for any of them . These characters are well written and you will love them . 

  This is one of those stories that has so much going on . There are friends to lovers , mystery and a striking family story. The author takes us on an a wild ride full of self doubt and love that defies the troubles of the main characters past . i found that I wanted to know what happened through out the book and was on the edge of my seat most of the time . There was one thing I felt like it could of been two books the part where Bailey was abducted and found then the story of her meeting her family and the emotions of what both those things did to her .I kind of felt it was just a little rushed . Over all I did enjoy this book and want to read more from this author . So here is another book for your summer reading list.

                        MY REVIEW

 The world has basically ended and the world's governments are useless against these megafirms that are taking over the world and running things  Leonard Kilbane is a resistance leader trying to thwart the gangs that are fighting for control. With his rag tag group they are taking down the rich and elite that are running the world . Will they be able to get back to a world that was before the fall or will the gangs win. 

 This is one of those books that has a main character that well defies what most characters are . Leonard Kilbane is a ghost a man of many characters that lead him to a life of intrigue He is strong silent and deadly . He is a torn man and wants to do what is right . He along with Bloodwolf are a just a few of the characters . They are all well written and complex . 

  This is one of those books that you will read and honestly use your brain sometimes through out . There is so much going on through out the book.  There is so much going on  you will be on the edge of your seat most of the way through . I found that sometimes it was a little over wordy and I think it was more sci fi then steam punk . But over all I really enjoyed this book so if you want a book that will have you on the edge of your seat and take you on a wild ride this is the book for you. Check it out .

                       MY REVIEW 

  Queen is the planet that once you are on it you don't get off . Ember is living on the women only plant where she hunts space pirates and mourns her wife's death . Until the day she is ambushed and dragged to the pirate camp . Where she finds out her wife's last project  an illegal ship to get them off the planet .  In the mean time Ember's sister Nadia is a scientist and she stumbles upon a secret flourishing ecosystem and a mining project that is making someone on New Earth very rich . But the scientists live in decaying housing , eking out a living in the cold . Ember ,Nadia and the sand pirates band together and take back the planet .With the help of the rabbits and beetles yes I said rabbits and beetles ( you have to read to find out more ) To determine the galactic placement of Queen and her inhabitants. The group must also grapple with Queen's narrow ideas of womanhood and where do the trans and intersex people belong 

  There are so many interesting characters in this novel . Ember well she is just surviving on this planet . She is stronger then she lets on but she is heartbroken over loosing her wife . She does come out a real fighter . Nadia well she is also a fighter , she left her husband to be with her sister and man she is smart and wants to figure out what is going on . I felt she is like the other side of Ember . Nadia wanted to keep Ember safe . There are also a whole cast of characters that are part of Ember and Nadia's life . The characters are very well written and complex . I think my favourite have to be the rabbits and the beetles not going to look at those animals the same way ever again . 

  This is one of those books where you get dropped into the story and it goes off from there . The characters are well written and the story is one of winning back your freedom .  You are transported to a place where you can come but you can't ever leave . This is the first story that I have read with a intersex character and the author did a great job of keeping the character real . The author also writes on where do the trans people fit in cause the planet was for women with vulva's . Its like real life in some chapters like where do people fit in and what happens when they don't . There is a romance in the book but it is lightly touched on . There is humor , rabbits and beetles . You have to read to find out but I will never looks at rabbits the same way again. So if you want a book that will make you think check it out.
