MY REVIEW
This is the second book in the series and starts right where the first book leaves off . I have been waiting to see what would happen . As we start the book we see that they have strong feelings for each other . But Max kind of pulls back and keeping Ruthie at a distance . He keeps referring to her as the nanny . He is in such turmoil with his emotions . He isn't the only one that is in denial of their feelings . Ruthie is fighting her feelings also . She is a devout Christian woman who has promised herself to wait until she is married . Max is having an effect on her that she wants to be with him more and more . They must navigate what their hearts desire and their new found relationship within God's hands .
The characters have grown since book one. We see a more playful side of both Ruthie and Max . They seem to be growing up more . Max is becoming more of the man that they all need . He is learning to relax and actually have fun with his kids . He is also starting to let his feelings for Ruthie come to the surface. Ruthie to me still seems to be a little bit naïve at the beginning of the books . She is self conscious about herself . As you read more into the book we see her growing stronger and more self assured after she finally admits that her feeling for Max are genuine and that God might be leading her in this direction .
This is such a sweet story of two people who find each other through the grace of God . They are such a sweet couple and the kids are so adorable. The author will make you laugh and cry also maybe fall in love just a little . Cathy writes with a passion that will make you keep reading all night long . I can tell you have a box of Kleenex at the ready and also be prepared to maybe give Max a shake and even Ruthie a shake now and again . Cause they really need it through out the book . So if you want a sweet romantic story that will make you fall in love . Check out YOURS TO CLAIM by Cathy Jackson

MY REVIEW
I was so excited when this showed up on my kindle to read . I love this series so much . The first book pulled me in and the second book had me hooked . This book just kept me on the edge of me seat. This book dives deeper into the Hunter and what is fueling him as he tries to out run some demons and getting closer to the secrets of his past .
When we meet the Hunter again he and his young charge Hailen is heading away from the city. They join a caravan where things get pretty bad and the Hunter is forced to use his dagger to protect the young child , who actually calms the demon inside the hunter . When the hunter is forced to kill to keep the child safe, and to find the answers he needs.
I must say that Hailen is the perfect companion for the Hunter . He has such a good calming influence on the Hunter . Hailen is your typical little boy with such a special gift . You just want to cuddle him and hug him and love him . He has his good moments and his typical boy moments of wanting and whining. Buy what child doesn't have those moments .
The hunter in this book is becoming more and more human . He still has his half demon side that wants the blood of the evil . But the human side of him is starting to get his memories back and wants to find out what he was before becoming the Bucelarii . As he remembers the memories , you want to hug him and tell him that things will be ok. You also feel him start to think about his actions and how they work. He is growing and becoming more then just the killing machine he was in book one and two .
The author takes us on an adventure this time . We go along on a caravan ride with people you don't know if you should trust or not . We trek through the desert wasteland . We see him fight the Illusionist Cleric and the demons masquerading as people . The author paints such a stunning picture as you read this book . You will actually cheer for the Hunter and shed a tear every now and then . You will want to take care of Hailen and the hunter . You might get angry with the characters but don't throw your kindle . Kindles are expensive . But I will say you will enjoy this whole series . So if you want a great series check out the Bucelarii series . I suggest you read book one and two so you know what's going on in book three . So if you want a really good dark fantasy series that will leave you wanting more . Check them out , I promise you will not be disappointed

This is the first book by Kate Nova and i was so happy when I got to read this short but hot and oh sexy book . This is a BDSM book and i will say it is brilliantly written . The characters are both strong and complex . So let me introduce you to Roman and Tess .
Roman Wilder what can we say about him. He is oh so sexy and let me say he gets what he wants in every aspect of his life . People might say he is a prick a royal prick that is . There is such an alpha side to him . He oozes sex appeal and can have any woman he wants . But there is a side of him that most people don't see. The softer side the side that is hurting and doesn't want to hurt anyone . Ladies you will so swoon when you meet Roman and your panties will drop trust me on that one. He is tall dark, handsome and you will want to fix him .
Tess is a sweet girl who works in her father's jewelery story . She is more then what she seems at the begining but she has a wild side to her . When she meets Roman you can see the sparks fly and she becomes such a strong woman as she explores with Roman . She pushes Roman's buttons like noone else can . She wants to know what is haunting Roman . These two are great individually but together they are hot and i mean hot .
The author takes us on a ride . I usually don't really read BDSM books cause they are
just not that well written. They usually have naive female characters and the male characters are so well just bad . This author doesn't . she takes care of her characters and doesn't make them too stupid to breathe . Like I said the characters are well written and complex . The BDSM scenes are well written and have realism to them . I mean this book isn't for anyone who is of feint of heart . So if you aren't into spanking , tying up and other BDSM this might not be the book for you. If you like bad boys , curvy woman and explicit sex and BDSM check out ROYAL PRICK by Kate Nova
