BOOK 4                      BOOK BLURB

Recent widower Andrew Blake finds himself at a crossroads in the wake of his wife’s passing, desperately seeking solace for his grieving 8-year-old daughter, Allie. Faced with an unexpected opportunity to choose a puppy from a litter of yellow labs, Drew seizes the chance to bring a furry companion into their lives.

Little does Drew realize that Lily, the tall and gangly last pick of the litter, will lead them all to unimagined blessings. With the grace of second chances and the promise of new beginnings, Lily heals and opens their hearts.

                          MY REVIEW
Drew and his daughter Allie are grieving the loss of his wife and mother. When they actually get moved up the list to adopt a puppy. Lily the tall and lanky little girl is ready to come into their lives and help heal them and help bring them together to a family .

Drew and Allie are trying their hardest to get their lives to some sort of semblance of being ok. They both are grieving the loss of the person that held them together. They both are trying to be there for each other and you can really feel them and the grief they are going through. When Lily enters the picture well lets say things change and her happiness starts to put smiles on their faces and brings them friends that help them out . Lily's point of view is so sweet through out the book. We get to see characters from the other books in the series . Each character is so very well written and you feel like you know them and you fall in love with each and every puppy.

This is a story that you will laugh and cry , it is such a sweet story with characters that you fall in love with. This is the first book i have read from this author and I am looking forward to reading more. So if you want a sweet series check it out , the books are fast reads full of love and puppy kisses.

BOOK 5                               BOOK BLURB

When Leo Tremblay moves to Dragonfly Cove, Florida, to help her sister Vrai run the quaint and cozy beachfront bookstore, Beach Reads, it’s like a plot from the novels she loves to read—a dream come true. They’re even going to get Labrador puppies from the same litter together!
Then Vrai dies, and the idyllic fantasy turns into a nightmare. Can Leo reconcile seemingly opposite new deep mourning and gratitude and happy excitement over new relationships she’s building?

                            MY REVIEW
Leo moved to Florida to help out her sister open her book store and they were going to do everything together. Even get puppies , but when her sister dies  Leo's world ended and she just couldn't even think of what to do and if she should even get the puppies that they wanted . As Leo works her way through her mourning with the puppies that just are too sweet and put a smile on everyone's face and the help of her new friends that come into her life . She will get the second chance she wants and the friendship and romance that she needs to carry on.

Leo has been through so much she is utterly heartbroken with the death of her sister . She is trying so hard not to let the grief overwhelm her . When the puppies come into the picture you see Leo starting to pull through the grieving enough to find some new friends and a romance with Zane. Lee is a regular and he and his grandma are going through their own problems and Leo is there to help them out . Each of these characters are amazing and so well written and I love Zane and Leo together , they are both gentle souls that found each other and realize that they both need each other .

This is a little bit more of a sadder story, the characters are all working through their problems and the author has them grieving some sort of loss. But at the same time you do get a good chuckle with Leo conversing with her dead sister and Vrai pushing her to do things with the puppies . This story had a few tears falling from my eyes and lots of giggles . Such a good series of books .
