WELCOME TO TUESDAY

 Good afternoon peeps , its a cold and blustery day here on the farm . It is the winter that will just not end here . Good day to curl up and read . Today I have book 4 in the Sinful Natures series . UNHOLY TEMPTATION by Lynn Burke .

                       MY REVIEW 

 Jed is the assistant pastor at Simple Grace Church . He is hiding a big secret that had a pastor removed and a couple of members leave . He has successfully hidden his identity until the moment his brothers best friend moves back to town and moved in across the hall from him. Jed is at a cross roads in his life when there is more going on at the church and he must decide on what he is going to do . Will Aiden's help and his love help Jed come out of his shell and become the man that Aiden knows he is . 

  I was so excited to hear that Jed was getting his own story. He is such a sweet guy who is torn between two worlds . He is a man of God but he is also a gay man who wants to be loved by someone.  He is a sweet shy nerdy guy who loves Star wars and graphic novels . Who has his life turned upside down when a person from his past comes back into his life . Aiden is that guy that everyone loved in high school , he was a jock who well did not know what he wanted . He was a man who the girls flocked to . To say he was kind of cocky and sure of himself . When he comes home he is well rethinking his life after his divorce . He is still cocky but he is also finding out a lot about himself and why his relationship didn't work. They both really do a lot of growing up through out this book especially Jed we see him become a man who is proud of who he has become and he grew up a lot . Aiden grew up also and realized who he was really suppose to be deep down inside . They are such well written characters that are well written and complex . 

 This is one of those stories that once you start it you will not stop until you are done. I read this book in an evening and just couldn't put it down . The author really paints a realistic view of what it is like to be different and find the love you deserve . The characters are so well written and complex you will love them from the very first moment you meet them, You don't have to read the other three books but it would be a good idea to get to know the guys .  I truly enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what the author will come with next . So if you like a love story that is full of angst with great characters check it out

 Good morning everyone , I am back and today I have new author and a new zombie book for you to read today. FADING DAWN  by J. Truesdell .

                       MY REVIEW 

   What would you do if one day you woke up and your worst night mare happens and the world is now over run with zombies are walking and the world is ending . Casey is living that horror right now . Now she must find her husband and try to get somewhere safe .They now must live the horror try and figure out how to survive. With the help from fellow survivors Penny Mitchell they are off to find survivors . 

  Welcome to the apocalypse where people come together and stay together . Casey is worried about what is going on out there all she wants to do is get to her husband. She a strong woman who just wants to find her husband and get to safety. She starts off as being a little naive but she really comes into herself as she fights her way through the zombies . Penny is well she is just as tough as Casey when it comes to getting everyone together and safe . We also get to meet various characters that are all complex and so well written . 

 This is a new author to me so I was kind of excited to sit down and read . I was pleasantly surprised . This is a zombie book and the author takes us on a wild ride through out the book . The characters are well written and complex and you will like them as soon as you meet them . I did find it did drag just a little through out but not enough for me to stop reading . Over all enjoyed the story and the characters . So if you like a good zombie story check it out .

  Good morning peeps today I have another book from two of my favorite authors Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.. This is the third book in the Lucy Westenra series . BEAUTY AND THE BARBAROUS BARBER

  When I find Henry, aka Dr. Jekyll, covered in blood and barely coherent, I’m a nervous mess.

Of further interest is the fact that Henry’s counterpart, Mr. Hyde, has been ripped from him.

After rushing Henry to the hospital and with no information about what happened to him, I get the only person involved who can help: Holmes and Watson.

After learning there has been a chain of murders in Sacramento, I also learned one of the most feared villains is loose: Sweeney Todd, the Barber of Fleet Street.

And he’s got a special knife that can separate souls from bodies.

It quickly becomes a rush to outthink and outsmart Sweeney Todd as we try to understand what he wants, why he’s here, and why...he attacked Dr. Jekyll, ripping away from him, Mr. Hyde.

And, as if that weren’t enough to deal with, I’m also coming face to face with none other than the man who created me...Dracula.

                        MY REVIEW 

 When Lucy finds Henry almost dead in his apartment she rushes him to the hospital where that sets off a chain of events sent Lucy on a challenge to find his other  half and bring them back together. While she is trying to figure to out the person who is the cause of a chain of murders and finds out that one of the most hated villain  of all is out Sweeney Todd . To make matters worse she runs into the man she didn't ever want to meet again her maker Dracula yes I said Dracula . What is she going to do and will they survive . 

   There are some great fictional characters in this series and now we add Sweeney Todd to the mix . Lucy is the main character and man she is tough and sassy but she is honestly getting tired of what she has to do . Henry is well he isn't the whole man he once was missing his other half . Sweeney Todd well he has so much going on and murdering is all part of it . There are so many well written characters in this book you will fall in love with all of them . All of them very complex 

   This story is the last book in the series and the authors take us on a rollercoaster ride that has us on the edge of our seats . The characters are well written and you will love to hate them . This is a book you can read in a weekend and then sit back and go wow what did I read and wow I really liked it . I truly love these two authors and their style of writing . I am sad that the series is ending but it went out on a big note .  So if you want a really good series packed full of some awesome fictional characters . Check it out .

GOOD MONDAY AFTERNOON

 Good afternoon my peeps , hope your Monday is going good . Its been a two pot of coffee kind of day here . The sun is shining and the snow is melting finally .Today I have the 3rd book in the Ever Dark Academy . GOT IT BAD  by Hp Mallory

                         BOOK BLURB

  After being ‘purged’ by the Academy of Enchantment, Everly loses all her memories of Ever Dark Academy, Dread, and the men who live there.

Luckily, she’s got a good friend in Griim who patiently helps Everly as she tries to relearn everything about Dread and Ever Dark. Little by little, Everly finds herself growing closer to Griim, much to Harlow’s discontent.

Then there’s also Jean-Claude—getting to know him the second time around doesn’t change the fact that Everly is drawn to him, though she isn’t sure why. Regardless, she can feel an attraction to him, a bond she can’t explain.

Meanwhile, Ever Dark Academy is looming very close to a potential battle with The Academy of Enchantment. On the surface, the reason why appears to be the fact that Jean-Claude, Griim and Harlow broke border protocols when they entered Arcadia uninvited. But Riven knows the true reasons run much deeper.

Those reasons have everything to do with the fact that Everly was able to read Dorian’s book—a journal no one has been able to decipher and one that’s believed to hold important information. And it’s that information the Academy of Enchantment is so worried about.

Now it’s just a matter of time before the Academy of Enchantment declares war on Ever Dark Academy and Everly seems to be stuck right in the middle.

                   MY REVIEW 

  Everly is back where she belongs with the men who love her for her . She has been through the worst thing imaginable a purge to erase all her memories of her time the men of the Ever Dark academy. Grim , Harlowe and Jean-Claude have rescued her and brought her back but she can't remember any of their time together . Now the Academy of Enchantment want her back and the book that only she can read . They want her back enough to start a war . Will Grim and the guys be able to stop the war and keep Everly out of the middle of the mess they made . 

 Everly and the guys are back and better then ever. Poor Everly has really been through it . She has lost everything all her memories and feelings . She is one tough cookie and just wants to get everything back to normal. She knows she belongs there with the men but just can't remember any of it . Grim is her best friend even when she lost her memories . He is the epitome of calm when it comes to Everly and treats her like herself and not like some damsel like the other two treat her like. Harlowe well he kind of bugged me , he seemed like he wasn't himself and was really being kind of bossy and had an attitude with Everly most of the time. He kind of really bothered me in this book . Jean-Claude well is too cool and collected , he is worried about what they did and how they are going to stop them . He does love Everly but he also wants to keep her safe and protected . I must admit that I like where the author is taking these characters and the love that they do have for each other . 

  This is one fast read that you can read in the weekend . This is a fast paced book that had me on the edge of my seat most of the time . The author really puts the characters through  it in this installment. We get to see more from the guys and their love for Everly and each of them really do love her in their own ways . I admit that this is a one click author to me I love how she takes her characters and puts them in the middle of a greatly built world . Then she goes into overdrive and puts those characters through the wringer . You pray that they come out the other side stronger and they do. There is a cliff hanger in this book and boy its a big one . I was shocked and kind of mumbling not so nice words as I was reading the last chapters . I can't wait to see how they are in the next book in the series . So if you want a good series check out the series you will not be disappointed .
