  Good morning my peeps, I hope your week is going well and you all have found some great books to read. Today I have book 22 in the Haven Hollow series. RITZY BUSINESS by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

When Marty Zack shows up at my office at Spook Society, asking for my help, I dunno what to think.

See, Marty and me… well, we’re at cross purposes when it comes to ghosties—I like to help the dead move on at their own speed, and Marty’s more like an uptight landlord kicking them to the curb.

So, when Marty tells me the spooks of Haven Hollow have been disappearing for no good reason, and he needs my help to find out why, I gotta wonder what in the heck is going on.

With the deceased Cain Morgan at my side (actually, it’s more fittin’ to say—he’s inside my head), we start investigating this perplexing case.

And soon, I find myself at Death’s door—literally.

Death has come to Haven Hollow, and it seems he’s gone sweet on yours truly!

                     MY REVIEW

When you are working for the Spooky Society and one of your best friends comes to you for help. What is a girl to do but go check it out .When Marty comes to Darla to tell her that the ghosts of Haven Hallow are just disappearing and he needs her help to figure it all out. With the help of the detective that is part of her and the help of the vampire dentist Lorcan they are off. What do they find but a hotel on the edge of town where Death is hanging out and he makes Darla an offer she can't refuse. Will she with the help of her friends be able to beat  Death at his own game or will she have to be his. 

  Omg Darla in the book is so much fun to read. She is one sassy lady but when push comes to shove she will protect everyone that she loves.  She has come a long way since we first met her. She has grown and became one of the girls with Poppy and Wanda. She may be strong on the outside but she really is a squishy marshmallow on the inside. We also get a new character to love or hate Death is a suave debonair man who is the type of man you really want to stay away from. He has an ulterior motive in his mind all the time. Remember you never make a deal with Death. They are such great characters becoming more and more complex with each book. 

  This is such a fun read and I am loving that each book is about a different character but the rest of the characters are around to help out when needed.  I giggled my way through the book just some of the things that Darla says just makes you laugh out loud. I truly love this series and they are fun to sit down and read on a cool evening. If you want a fun series to read check them out you will not be disappointed,

GOOD MONDAY ALL

  Good morning all, hope your weekend was good. My weekend was perfect for reading. So, I finished the second book in the Crown of lies series, THE ASSASSIN IN THE CASTLE by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain. 

                           BOOK BLURB 

  When Master Nicolo realizes his mother is still alive, he tells me I’m to join him on his quest to locate her.

This little adventure will give me the perfect opportunity to assassinate him—something the prince eagerly reminds me of.

Yet, I’m torn…

Even though I’m not supposed to get feelings for my targets, I can’t help but think I’ve grown a bit of an attachment to Nicolo.

Yes, he has a rough exterior, and yes, there are times when I wish I’d already accomplished my task, but there are also moments when he reveals something deeper—someone kinder, someone nobler, and someone even funny.

Regardless, I’m well aware that I have a job to do, and the time to do it is dwindling away.

But once we leave the walls of Woodfall Gath, just the two of us, any fondness I might have harbored for Nicolo only grows, especially when he reveals a side of himself I didn’t know existed. In fact, I’m fairly certain even he didn’t know it existed.

Regardless, I have a decision to make—to kill Nicolo or not to kill Nicolo.

And if I don’t kill him, could we have a future together? Or is our future doomed because everything between us is built on nothing but lies?

                        MY REVIEW

  When Nicolo finds out his mother is still alive, he is on a mission to find her. Charlotte is asked to go with him. When they leave Woodfall things start to change for them, fondness grows between them and when they find his mother things change for Charlotte and Nicolo. They find themselves being more open and slowly start to fall for each other. Nicolo shows a side of himself that will just melt anyone's heart and Charlotte falls deeper for him but she is at odds she does have a job to do. Will they be able to keep their love alive or will the job and the king get in the way. 

  This is the second book in the series and we dive into more of the essence of the characters. Nicolo is such a big character it is nice to see his softer side. The side that can fall in love and care for someone. We totally see him change once he finds his mother. He is a happier calmer man who you can't help but fall in love with. You also see a change in Charlotte she becomes a sweet girl who is in love with a man but she is also fighting what she needs to do, she doesn't want to do it. You see her wrestle with what she wants and what she has to do. These two characters really grow in this book I really loved the softer side of both of them. We also get to meet Nicolo's family which they are all very sweet and they really know how to love each other. 

  This is one of those books that when you sit down and read you will be transported back to a time of kings and knights. I love that we get to see a part of the characters that have them showing their softer sweeter sides.  The authors take us on a sweet adventure. I hope that the third book has us on the edge of our seats so many questions that need to be answered and agendas that need to be cancelled. Check out this series if you love mystery, intrigue, and romance. This is a slow burn book that will have you turning pages and reading all night long. A great read for you winter reading

WINTER IS COMING

  Good afternoon peeps. sorry I am late with my post today it has been busy around here. Today I have for you the second book in the Wolves of Valhalla series. WOLVE OF WINTER

  When Torsten disappears into Fyrcat’s flames, I can only wonder if I’ve just watched my boyfriend die…

Overcome with worry, I do the only thing I do—I go into the flames after him.

                        MY REVIEW

 When Torsten disappears in Fyrcat's flames, the only thing Jovi does what any good girlfriend do, she dives in after him. Where she lands in a land with giants. that will kill you just as soon look at you. When she meets up with Dwarf Brisingr who becomes her protector and friend. While Torsten is fighting his way out his brother is left behind with a witch Fyrcat and he is fighting his attraction for her. The war between the Gods is raging on with the army of the undead and an eternal winter on earth. They are caught up in the war between Freya and Odin. They can only hope to survive the wraith.

  Jovi and the guys are back and better than ever. Jovi is kicking butt and taking names in this new world that she landed in. Jovi is a complex woman who knows what she wants and has some great chemistry between the other characters. You really get to see the intense feeling she has for the men throughout the book. Torsten is back and he is out for blood trying to get out the alternate world they are in. I love the complexity between each character throughout the story. Their destinies are entwined in such a way that will have you loving them. 

 This is one of those stories that have you snuggled down and reading all night. The characters are complex and you will love them. The authors have really painted a great backdrop for these characters. I couldn't but book down. I really got invested in the story and if they would come out alive or not.  I love Norse mythology, so this is one of those series that has it in spades. Check out this series you won't be disappointed,  Check it out .

   Good morning peeps hope everything is good for your Wednesday. It is release day for one of my favourite authors. FIRST MOON by Linda Thomas - Sundstrom

   Nikki is born to be a werewolf hunter and really just sees all werewolves as the enemy. Until that fateful night where things change. Jonathan's job is to watch out for rogue werewolves and take them out before they expose them all to the humans. When Nikki is attacked by one of those rogue wolves Jonathan is torn between helping Nikki or keeping his secret. Will they be able to overcome the loyalties or will the passion between overcome and bring these two together. 

  Nikki, I am thinking is going to be my, new favourite character. She is strong minded kick butt woman who knows what she has to do. Things seem to be going great she is keeping tabs on the wolves until the night where things go upside down. Now she doesn't know what to think or do. She is fighting for her life literally and she doesn't know who to trust the dashing werewolf there to help her or the hunters.  Jonathan is well he is a werewolf who has been tracking Nikki watching her and well basically keeping her safe from the rogue wolves. He is well he is just sexy and sweet in his own way but like all heroes he is conflicted should he just watch Nikki and not get involved or get involved and let the chips fall where they may. Jonathan and Nikki are hot together and the sexual tension between them is palpable.  

  This is one of those books that maybe short but it sure packs a lot into that one story to have you reading it in one sitting. This series is set in Miami and the author uses the city as a backdrop for the well written characters. I truly enjoy aspects of the city that entwined into the characters also.   I love this series so much the author as a way of making you part of the stories and her idea of werewolves are different and very inventive. So, if you want a story that is full of adventure. steam and sexy men check it out you will love this series. I promise you will like this series. A great read for your fall season.

  Haley wants it all , she is in love with her roommate and best friend but he is gay. So she tries to find someone on the MISSING LINK app , they cater to the polyamorous community. She wants what her cousin has two men that can love her for her. When she finds the sweetest guy in the world. Wyatt walks into their lives and turns it upside down. Both Garrett and Haley, will they be able get past the hurts of the past to have the love that they deserve or will the past tear them apart. 

   Ok lets talk hot men and the woman who loves them both. Haley is a sweet woman who is haunted by her past but she hides the past hurt well. She is feisty with a touch sweetness but she also battles depression which sends her down a dark path sometimes. Garrett is her best friend who actually has a secret crush on her even though he is gay, He is always there for her like a knight in shining armor but he has a sadness around him that you can feel when you are reading him. Wyatt is a sweet man who is just wanting to be loved. He is Blaine's boos and you will love him. He is a hardworking man who is hiding a dark secret from his past. You will love these guys and cheer for them to finally be happy.  

  This is one of those books that you will devour in one sitting, The characters are well written and complex. The author really shows the emotions on trying to find each other and keeping each other as you fight your demons. There is such a sweet romance that goes on throughout  the story and there are also some really hot scenes between the three of them which I will say are very hot. I did find that some of the story felt like it was like another story the author wrote. It just felt a little slow at some points throughout the book. Don't get me wrong I truly enjoyed the story and can't wait to see what happens to the next couple. So if you want a hot MMF story check it out .

  Good morning my peeps. hope you all had a great weekend. It is that time of year again warm sweaters and hot cider and some good books to read. Today I have for you the last book in the Dark Circus trilogy. THE GIRL IN THE DARK by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

                         MY REVIEW 

   Bindi was almost free from the Cirque Du Noir she has made it back to her hometown but before she is there. Guess who shows up Rex and a gun toting man that Bindi has never seen before. They whisk her back to the circus where she is put under well basically house arrest. Then things really get hairy for her, she is sent cryptic messages and a book that shows the past of the woman that looks just like her. She wants to save her friends and starts a revolt but we find out the only way out of the circus is death, Will she and her friends be able to save themselves and bring down the curtain of the circus or will they be part of the circus forever,

  Bindi has really grown into a kick butt character, she will do anything to help out the friends she has made, She is one feisty girl who wants to figure out why she is stuck in the world that she reallydoesn't want to be in. We also get to meet the mysterious Mr. Grey the creepy old man who wants her to realize what she is. The rest of the gang is also back and well let's just say they are better and badder then ever . You really don't know who to trust and what to believe. They are complex and well written. 

  This is the last book in the trilogy and boy it did not disappoint. The authors kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through.  There were questions answered and some shocking truths were revealed. This is and edge of your seat book that I was sucked in by the end of the chapter one, The ending had me kind of shocked and the twist was so much fun to read.  I reccomend this series for your fall reading challenge.
