With the help of Roman’s long-suffering uncle, a determined FBI agent, and a mysterious benefactor with a multitude of resources at his disposal, they’ll need to bring down a shadowy financial powerhouse and put an end to their villainy before it’s too late for Creed to have a life with his beloved.

                        MY REVIEW 

 Creed's life has been altered over fifty years ago by an ancient entity called The Source. Then the rebels destroyed the source . When he finally finds out who did it a temptation walks into his life in the name of Roman. He is everything that Creed wanted and needed but things always go sideways when Roman is taken from him and his past finally catches up with him. When they are finally reunited all Creed wants to do is to whisk Roman so noone can find them. But this time they steal Creed away because of what he is and his unique genetic make up. Now its Roman's turn to find his love and do whatever it takes to get him back. With the help of his uncle and a mysterious benefactor Roman will do what ever it takes to find Creed and bring down the people who took his love away. 

  This is one of those books where you jump in with both feet and hang on. The characters are well written and complex. Creed is a vampire but also a pacifist and a man who uses his powers for good . He has gone through so much and is still trying to help people and just wanting to get back to those he loves and needs . Roman is stubborn and infuriating most of the time . He bulldozes into things and fights for what he wants and for those who  he loves and cares for.  They are strong characters that will fight for what they want. We get to meet a lot of characters along the way that help each of them out and keep them safe. Each character is well written and complex . You will have your favorites along the way. 

   This is book 2 in the series and boy it is a good series the author weaves a story with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of you seat. You will fall in love with the characters. Creed is my favorite character. This is one of those books once you start you can't put it down until you are done. I love how it in some areas were treated like an interrogation room with interviews . I really liked this story and can't wait to see what happens next. So if you want a good vampire book check it out
