GOOD EVENING ALL I AM ON THE LAST OF THE NOVELLAS FOR READER ROUND UP

Good evening peeps , I am on the second last novella for the reader round up and tonight's book is another book by one of my favorite authors R.L Merrill. book 2 in the Bolder Breed Studios  LOVE AND PRIDE ,

                          BOOK BLURB

Popstar Unice Love is thrilled to be recording a high-profile holiday tune for charity, and super-producer Lydia Pride knows she can do something special with Love’s exceptional vocal instrument. Sparks fly between the spirited ingenue and the seasoned musician, but Unice will need to get past the obstacles that have held her back and learn to speak up for what she wants, and Lydia will have to let her in if they’re going to make beautiful music together.

                        MY REVIEW

Unice Love is so happy to be doing a christmas song for charity but her handlers are well so over protective poor Unice can't breathe, but when she meets Lydia Pride the producer for her song. Lydia sees potential in Unice and her sultry voice. Sparks fly for the both of them but Unice needs to learn to stand up for herself and tell them and Lydia what she wants and Lydia will make beautiful music with Unice.

Unice has been a star since she was a teen ager. She has been doing what the record company wanted for as long as she could remember. She is so sweet but she is also a nervous wreck She wants to grow up as a singer but everyone wants her to still be the campy teen that she was . Lydia is actually a kind of a hard nosed producer and wants to take Unice to the heights she knows she can go and she feels a pull towards Unice . There is a sadness in both the women each having a secret that they have to come through to figure each other out. I truly like this couple they are complex and you want to just hug both of them j

This is book 2 in the Bolder breed studios series and it is just as fun to read as the first book. The characters are fun to read and the story is a fast read . I truly like the writing style of this author and her stories are great for your summer reading list.
