MY REVIEW
This is a volume of short stories and fan fiction . It introduces us to all the cities of Toonopolis and the characters that inhabit them .
We start off with Where Do our ideas go which is a fun cute read that will have you thinking about the concept of creation and what to do with it . Then we go to the Misanthrope Beechworth & The Dustwaste . Where we are taken on a grand adventure through Steamport . Each story is well written and the characters are well thought out and complex .
When I started reading this book I was wondering what the author was going to do . As I read I really got involved with each area of Toonopolis . The author shows us the diversity of each area of Toonopolis . Each story had a moral behind it but it never got preachy in any way . The author handled it with laughter and smiles . I still really say that these books need to be in comic form It would be fun to see the characters in comic form as they go through their stories . I think my all time favourite story is THE GRAVE LITTLE TOASTER . I mean who doesn't want to summon a demon from their toaster. You have to read the story to find out what I am talking about . I laughed so hard through that one This is another great book for your kids summer reading list . Add it to the list .
