 Good morning peeps , its warming up here on the farm but still great book reading weather . Today I have a new author , Greg Chase and his book THE ROAD FROM OBLIVION.

                    MY REVIEW 

 Swash Jones is the third generation captain of a earth rover . He has gone through so much in his life during the post apocalyptic world in North America . He is trying to keep his current crew alive and safe while fighting the PTSD  that haunts him day and night . His crew are fighting their own nightmares . Whisper , his navigation expert was saved from slavery . His pilot has a personal secret that must be guarded at all times . Stitch the medic is stirring up some feelings that Swash needs to watch out for . Then he needs to hang onto Blade the hired gun to keep everyone safe, he has a shady past . Keeping them all together and the Beast moving is the only hope to keep them together through wastelands , storms and bands of marauders . Will they be able to stay alive and prepare for the new mission that could save what's left of humanity. 

 Ok wow I truly liked these characters , they are so well constructed and complex . You really get into the minds of each character and see how they are functioning with the problems that are plaguing them . Swash is fighting PTSD and you really see him struggle with it through out the book . All the other characters also are fighting the past. I really liked Whisper she is stronger then most people give her credit for . She really wants to help out and take them to the mountains to help out her mother . She is my favorite character , and loved them all actually . 

  This is the first book I have read from this author . I really like apocalyptic tales and this one didn't disappoint me . The author really takes us on roller coaster ride . There are twists and turns that will have you  on the edge of your seat . I enjoyed this book but I found that I felt the beginning of this book was a little slow and it took me just a bit to get into it . But by chapter 6 I was hooked and couldn't put it down . It started to move faster and there was a lot more action . Over all I enjoyed this look on the apocalyptic story . I can't wait to see where the author takes us in the second book . This author is my new go to author for anything apocalyptic . So if you are into that type of book check it out . I promise it will be a good book to read while you are fighting the winter blues .

  Good morning peeps , well we are back in the deep freeze so its another great day to curl up and read . Today I have book 13 in the Haven Hollows series  BROKEN MIRRON  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

                      MY REVIEW 

 Poor Poppy is not having a good day after she broke her bedroom mirror , her day went down hill. The seven years of bad luck is true and poor Poppy needs to find a way to get rid of the bad luck .  So right in the middle of her bad day enters a woman with the exact mirror that is haunted .  Now it is time to find out about this woman in the mirror and the terror that she is going through. Now it is time to free this poor woman but how do they go about it and also get rid of the seven years of bad luck  the hard way . 

 Poppy and the gang are back and funnier then ever . Poppy is still so sweet but having such a bad day . It is actually kind of funny on how bad the day is . The rest of the gang is there and funnier then ever . Marty is still so sweet and wants to help Poppy out so much you can see the love he has in his eyes for her. I absolutely love these characters and they get better and better with each book . 

  This is a fun read that I soaked up in an evening . The characters are such fun and the authors really take them in fun situations . There is so much going on in the book that will keep you in stitches all the way through it . This is a shorter book that you can read in a couple of hours and you will enjoy every second of the book . The authors have a great writing style and really know how to build up the twists and turns and then make you laugh at why and how the characters got into that predicament . So if you want a fun read check out this series it is a fun read

                      MY REVIEW 

 When Satan and his brother God have a knock down drag out fight . Their mother , who is as crazy as old bat, steps in and sends them to the middle of a corn field in Indiana .They have to become frenemies and learn to get along or they will be pole dancing with good ole momma for a century . They have three days to get it right and get to Kentucky . But when they find two homeless children and a beautiful diner owner who is more then she says she is . Will they be able to save the kids when Trolls come into town and all hell breaks loose in the small town . Oh and God finds love with the diner owner and may have a happily ever after with her . 

 OMG  ok I love Lucifer and God in the other books  but this is one amazing read . The characters are such a fun read . Lucifer is well he is as naughty as ever , he is his own pilfering foul mouthed self . Trying to out do his brother when it come to their sons . But when push comes to shove he is there for his brother and grows up a bit . God well his is kind of a nerd ,he has been by himself way too long . He also I think has a bit of ocd , color coordinating the pantry and his files and wanting to be clean all the time . You really want to hug him and take care of him . When he meets Tammy he is the funniest bumbling idiot out there and its so cute to watch . I seriously think that these two actually grow through out this book and become friends as well as brothers .  Tammy is a new character and she is sweet and doesn't take any guff from either God or Satan . There is more to her then most people know and the whole town is the same as her . I must say that these characters were so much fun to read . 

 I sat down and read this book in an evening and man I have never laughed so hard . The characters are so much fun and you will love them . You get sucked into the story by the end of chapter one and the next thing you know you are done.  The funniest way to read about sibling rivalry. I seriously going to say that this book is may favorite book from this author . So if you want a laugh out loud book to read check it out..

  Good afternoon peeps , sorry I am late today its still really cold out . So it was a tea and a good fairytale this morning . Today I have book seven in the Happily Never after series . EMBER  by Plum Pascal .

                      MY REVIEW 

   Ember has lived in clutter her whole young life ,so when she older she has two things in her life keeping her life clean and orderly and deciphering clues on maps . Until the day that three men walk into her life and take her on the adventure of a life time . Where along the way she realizes that she needs these mean as much as they need her . 

  Ok let me talk to you about Ember and the boys . Ember well she is one shy woman who want to have her life orderly as possible . She thinks that the only way that she is helpful is with her mind . As she helps out the guys we see her grow and and come into her power . But I think that there is more to her then meets the eye . Yes she is the chosen one but i believe that she might be a dragon hidden in there . Blake well he is the prince and a very dashing man who is sweet and sexy . He just wants to be a normal man well as normal as a prince can get . Aimes is equally as sexy but in a gruffer kind of way . He is best friends with Blake and wants to do anything to find the map . Vaughan is well he is sweet under the gruff exterior . All three of these men are sexy and also have hearts of gold . When they are with Ember they are the  best they can be . They are valiant and fighters for love of Ember and to help sav Fantaisia . 

  It has been a long time for a Happily never after book . I am so glad when I saw that the author finally had written book seven . I will say this is a really fun read with a lot of smexy time going on. I love how the author has reimagined the fairytales and turned them in reverse harems . The stories are a fun fast read that will have you sometimes blushing along with some of the characters in the books. If you haven't started this series I would suggest you start reading . You will not be disappointed . Great reads for this cold weather.

   Sybelle Strange is living in a time of fractals , men just really not themselves anymore and have an inner monster . Women have three or more men as her mates . Sybelle is special and after three years the men that have been hers since they were young, Come back to take her away and hide her because the Monstera King wants her for himself , She is theirs and noone will take her away from them . They maybe monsters but they are hers and they will do whatever it takes to keep her .

 Ok now these characters where to start , I loved them and really got invested in them all of them . Sybelle is one of those women who come off as sweet but man this woman is one tough cookie. She is also loving and wants to just be loved . Now lets talk the men in this book oh my goodness . We have Thorn Balthazar and Atticus . They are all so sexy and dominant but also monsters . Thorn is well he is I am trying to figure out his monster . He loves to cook and take care of everyone and is well wicked in bed . Baltazar is more the protector and the comedian of the group . He is well I say he comes from the depths of hell and is like a bat in so many ways . He loves blood play with Sybelle. Now for my favourite monster  Atticus , he is very stoic a real thinker but oh my so sexy . I would call him like a leviathan from the sea . He has tentacles and boy they sound like fun .  Each man is strong and ready to fight for the one they love but together they will burn down the world to keep her safe . 

 Right off the bat I am going to tell you that this might not be the book for some people . If you like a little deviant behavior and monster sex . This is the book for you , I mean the authors really take you on an adventure ride . Yes this is a reverse harem but it is also so much more . It is a love story that started when they were just kids . There are a lot of twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat and there are a lot of smexy times where you might get your fingers burnt from the heat coming off your kindle . I really loved the kind of sci fi vibe it gave off also . I read this book in an evening and I will say this is the first book in a long time that gave me a book hangover . I strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants to add some monsters to their life . Check it out .

  Good morning my peeps , today I have book 2 in the Arctic Wolf series . NEW WOLF  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

  Ellie is the new police chief in Hope Alaska , her first case is a break in at the local bar. Thinking that it was kids wanting some free booze but there was nothing taken .She knows the owner is hiding something . So she has a mystery to solve and also she has her first change into a wolf coming up to . Thank god she has Alex to help her with both the mystery and the change .  Will she be able to stop the killer before he unleashes the hell on Hope . Will she be able to change to wolf and not loose herself in the process . 

  I so love these characters . Ellie well she is so much fun . She is tough and strong but she does have a heart of gold . She is having a tough time at the moment though. She is constantly hungry and well she wants to jump Alex's bones every time they are together . But she can't not until her first shift .  Alex well he is still dang sexy and sweet . He is the protector of Ellie and they are such a good couple together. They are both strong but they are stronger together . 

 This is a book you can read in an evening . The story is so well written with lots of twists and turns that could have you on the edge of your seat most of the time. This book will have you hooked by the end of chapter one . You will like the characters and the story line is so much fun to read . So if you want a good series to read check it out .

  Good day my peeps , I hope your Wednesday is going good . It is our second day of warm weather here so been out getting chores done and hanging out with the dogs . I did have time to read a great new book by one of my favourite authors . SEDUCED BY THE MOON  by Linda Thomas - Sundstrom.

   Skylar is out at a her father's cabin in Colorado to clean it out after his death. She loved the quiet and peacefulness of the cabin . Until the unbelievable sexy park ranger comes over and gives her a warning about what is in the woods .  She is wondering what warning is he talking about . There is a bond between them that they can't understand and can't deny .  As Gavin hunts the monster that bit him until Skylar walked into his life . Now they are fighting their feelings and a monster . Will they be safe and will they give into their desires . 

 OMG I truly love these characters . Skylar is such a strong willed girl with a heart of gold . She is persistent about finding out what happened to her mother and why her father died . She tries to come to terms with the dreams of a strange man that is haunting her dreams and wants answers to all the questions about that night, I really liked her and loved her go get them attitude even if it gets her in trouble . Gavin is well he is sexy as sin and has such a good guy . He is also very troubled by the what has happened to him . He is fighting the beast that is inside of him . He doesn't think that he deserves love or a woman in his life .  Together they are a powerful couple and they are so well written and trust me you will love them . They are my favourite couple . 

 I swear this is a book that once you pick it up you will not put it down until you are done. The characters are very well written and there is a depth to them that will have you falling for them . The story is so very well written and there is a lot of twists and turns through out the book. There is also a lot of romantic tension that will have you fanning your face and blushing a little .  i truly enjoy this author's style of writing , she writes in a way that doesn't dumb down the characters or the story . Each book is like a movie playing in your head as your read . This is the first 5 stars of the year . So if you want to check it out you will not be disappointed one bit .

                       MY REVIEW

    Cynthia is trying to get her life back together after the divorce from her idiot of a husband . So she takes the job as a care giver of a dementia patient Maddy . Who is the sweetest old lady ever . But when Maddy steals the gun of a sexy FBI agent Rhys and tries to shoot a random stranger at the grocery store. They are instantly attracted to each other but there is a mystery that needs to be solved . Will they be able to find the love that they both want and need or will Maddy lead them into more trouble then they both need . 

  These characters what can I say about them. Cyn well she is hiding mostly , her confidence took a nose dive after a divorce from a man who well was not really nice . She is always putting herself down and man has no confidence at all . She does love her job but she is so lonely and you can tell at the beginning .As she get entangled with Rhys she actually blossoms and you really see her confidence grow and be happy  Rhys well he is a sexy FBI agent well he has his moments . He is fun loving and he really does get himself into trouble a lot . The break out star of the book though is Maddy . she is 93 years old and yes she has dementia but man she is so funny . She is the best escape artist out there and just keeps everyone on their toes . She really does grow on you and is smarter then they give her credit for and keeps everyone on their toes . You will love her when you read her. 

 This is one of those books that when you start you are instantly laughing your butt off . I mean come on when a book starts out with a shopping cart , stolen gun and shooting a random stranger in a grocery store, you will be on your way to a fun filled roller coaster ride . The characters are well written and you will love them . The author really takes her characters and puts them in some really funny situations through out the book. I was hooked by the end of chapter two and was laughing out loud all the way through the book . I can't wait to see where the author takes all the characters . I can't believe that it is the first book by this author . So if you want a good fun read check out this book .

  Welcome to day 9999999 of the deep freeze on the farm , ok I may be exaggerating about how many days but man it feels like it.  Still getting some good books read in the deep freeze . Todays book is PROMISE OF GRACE  book 5 in the Harland Creek series by Jodi Allen Brice.

   Grace is hiding from her past in the sweet town Harland Creek . She is in love with the the towns people . Until the local sheriff walks into her life and plays nice with her . She is done with men or is she . Sloane Jackson is the local police officer and after a bad break up he is done with woman . Until his sister decides meddle and he starts to fall for Grace and as they start to get to closer the past to haunt them . Will they finally get the happiness they deserve or will the past keep them apart,

  These characters are so well written and complex I really love Grace , she is such a broken woman who has had it all in the past until a fateful day when everything falls apart. She is one shy woman who doesn't want to be a problem to others . As you read she starts to blossom into a fun young woman who has a lot to live for. Sloane well his one sexy guy who has a heart of gold . Together they are such a fun couple they do have their ups and downs but they do start to fall in love and they are so cute together. 

 This is one of those books that will tug at your heart strings . The author takes us on a emotional roller coaster ride . The characters are so well written and complex and you will fall in love with them as soon as you start to read . The author has a writing style that will have you hooked by the second page . We also get to see the wounded broken characters heal and find the love that they need .This is a sweet romance story that had me on the edge of my seat one moment then crying the next moment. I am truly loving this series and can't wait to go back to Harland Creek and catch up with some of the sweetest characters out there, So if you want a sweet story full of love and redemption this is the book series for you.

When Luke Montague was hit by a truck, courtesy of Angharad’s witch magic, I was in shock. But, when he opened his eyes and looked up at me, saying “ma minette,” I knew my life would never be the same again.

And I was right.

But, even with Drake alive again, everything isn’t daisies and roses. No, far from it.

I’m still playing puppet on a string to Guarda (ahem, zombie puppet on a string) and important artifacts are still going missing throughout New Orleans, stolen at the hands of ghostly children. As if that weren’t enough, there’s a witch terrorizing the city with wands of licorice that turn into deadly snakes.

And my sudden onslaught of dreams of the Colonial 17th century are somehow related, I’m sure. In my dreams, I’m in a garrison under attack from ghostly invaders and they’re searching for someone—someone who, in turn, is searching for me.

Yep, just another day in the life of Peyton Clark, spiritualist, medium and perpetual mess up.

                   MY REVIEW 

  Peyton and the gang are back and having one of the worst weeks of her life . Luke Montaque is dead and lying in her living room until the moment he opens his eyes and she hears  mon minatte . Now her life is going to change and sometimes not for the better . She is still the puppet with the strings being pulled by Guarda . Now artifacts are being stolen by ghost children. If that isn't enough to drive a person insane there is a witch going around terrorizing people with licorice whips that turn into deadly snakes .Then there are the dreams of 17 century Colonial times where some one is trying to find her . This is a typical day in her life  will she come out this with all her friends intact and will she be able to shake the zombie puppet from hell . 

 Peyton and the gang is back and honestly funnier then ever . Poor Peyton has had such a bad day and its only going to get worse . You really start to feel for Peyton . She is strong but she so trying hard to keep her life together. Drake is finally in the flesh and wow i must say you thought he was sexy as a ghost he is even sexier as a flesh man. They are such a great couple and i love how well they work together . Ryan is well he is really not himself and man he is just scary in so many ways . There are a couple of fun cameos in this book Wanda and Poppy make an appearance and man they just add to the chaos of the main characters . 

 This is a fun read , I really love this series so much . The authors really know how to take their characters and put them such fun characters . The characters are well written and getting more and more complex with each book . I found myself on the edge of my seat through out the book and then laughing uncontrollably. There are some great twists and turns through out this book and you will get sucked in by the end of chapter 2 . So if you want a great series check them out  for your winter reading to get through the cold snap

  Good morning my peeps , hope everyone is staying warm and safe . I am in a severe cold warning up here on the farm . Great time to snuggle down with a good book. I have a new author to me , let me introduce you to Ellie Potts and her rock star book ROCK MY STARS

   Rock music is my life.

                       MY REVIEW 

  Tabby is a music blogger , a popular blogger . She is well kind of broken from a tragedy but she has to best friends Walt and Danny hang out and rock out together . When they head to the first rock festival of the summer things change When she meets her music crush Spencer Tate. A rock god with his silver eyes and sexy tattoos . When one drunken kiss leads to a summer of fun , music and maybe love. Until the fated phone call brings everything crashing down around her and sends her back to the friends that she left behind . 

  What can I say about these characters Tabby is well she is one tough woman , she is funny and charismatic but there is a sadness in her that she tries to hide but sometimes can't. There was a tragedy that happened that has broken her . She does realize through out the book that she is stronger then her past and she learns to fight for what she wants and won't let anyone get in her way. Her best friends Walt and Danny well  I loved Walt he is a cool guy that has nothing but love for Tabby . Danny on the other hand gave me the creeps from the first moment you meet him. He is just well like a used care salesman giving off that creepy vibe . 

Spencer well he is like melted chocolate just soothes you when you look into your silver eyes . He is your typical sexy rock star with a passion for books . You want to stare into his eyes all day long and be wrapped up in his arms . When you get past the rock star you find a man who has been hurt and just wants to be loved for himself . These characters are well written . I would love to see the author dive a little deeper into them and make them a little more complex . 

  This is a book that you can curl up and read in an evening .  There are a lot of feelings goin on through out this book . We get to see the fun that can be had when you are with the people that you love . The author takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotions . There were parts of this book I was on the edge of my seat and there were a couple of parts that had me tearing up and then laughing my butt off . Over all I enjoyed this book but I felt the beginning kind of felt like it dragged a little . Once you get the last part of the book it really picks up and moves very fast . This is a really good read once you are into chapter 5 and you will love the characters and the story line is good . So if you want a fun rock star story check it out

 Zeke is a Christian marriage counselor that is good at his job and kept on the straight and narrow , until the day a young couple walked into his office .  Levi the man he kissed at a concert and now he is sitting in his office . They have duties that keep them from acting on their desires . Until they can't take it anymore will they be able to keep their love from imploding or will they be able to come out unscathed and be able to love each other . 

 Omg i am in love with this book, the characters will rip out your heart . Zeke is a man of conviction and wants to do what is right . He really struggles and you want to hug him and tell him to be true to himself . Levi is a sweet young man who has been through a lot in his life . He has come from a family that well just didn't care too much . He has a lot of trouble trusting people that are in his life and battles bouts of anxiety and depression. He is a sweet man when he is with Lily. They are great friends and are there for each other .  These are some great characters that you will love and want to take care of . They are complex and so well written . You will love them and want to take care of them

 I got this book and devoured it in one sitting . The author really know how to tear at the heartstrings . This book is more angsty and we see the struggles more between the characters . We really go a roller coaster ride of emotions through out this book . I was on the edge of my seat most of the way through the book . I had tears in my eyes all the way through out the book . This is a a series is one that will have your heart breaking and repairing itself by the end of the books . So if you want a great series this is the series for you .
