                      MY REVIEW

  After Chloe looses her mother and now is headed to a new home in Keene Valley and her aunt and uncles house .  All she wants to do is finish high school and get out until she meets Trent . Then everything starts to go haywire . Chloe is having bad dreams and hallucinations that are showing the boy she likes is more . Trent is hiding a secret that is lethal . Will they be able to find the love that beckons them and figure out who is murdering the kids . 

  Chloe just wants to have her mom back , you just want to hug her and tell her everything  will be ok . She is your typical teen ager who well is going through a rough time . She sometimes comes off as a little bit naive but I can understand why . She has been through so much . Trent well he is hot and actually sweet . He really doesn't carry around that I am better then you attitude , There is more to him then what people see , he is hiding a big secret . Which you find out about early in the story . There are so many characters that influence both main characters . Some for the good and some to the bad . 

  This is a book that will have you believing in love at first sight and the relationships that can come out of that . There is everything in this book , you have a mystery, romance, all the angst that you can want . The author sets up the story great and takes us on an edge of the seat adventure . The characters are well written and complex and you will love them and hate them.  Yes this does kind of have the vibe a twilight book but I think it is actually a little bit more intense then the other books . I truly liked this book and enjoyed the characters very much . So if you want a good clean read that your teen can read too . Check it out  you will not be disappointed

MAN IT IS ALREADY THE LAST WEEK IN MARCH

   Good afternoon every one I can't believe it is the last Sunday in March . Today I have the fifth book in the Detective Cadillac Holland mystery series by H. Max Hiller . PARISH THE THOUGHT

                       MY REVIEW 

  When detective Holland is called upon to find the senator's missing daughter he stumbles upon more then just a missing girl . When a pool of blood is found in her Mercedes the detective is in for more then he bargained for while investigating . With each telling of the story the detective has to figure out what is true and what is not , before the killer strikes again. 

   Holland is back and stronger then ever , I love how he can think outside the box when it comes to his findings. He is witty and charismatic . He knows how to do his job and will do almost anything to get the job done.  Chef Tony and the gang are also back helping out where needed. 

 This is the second book I have read by this author and I must say it was a very good read . The author puts a lot of twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat all the way through.  The characters are well written and complex and you will really like them . There was  a big twist in this book that will actually have your jaws dropping in an OMG  moment . Now with that being said I have to say that the beginning of this book was just a little slow and I felt it could of been punched up a bit and move faster . Over all I really enjoyed this book and the style of this authors writing . I can't wait to read more from this author . So if you want a good mystery to read this spring check it out.

                       MY REVIEW

 Riley is not having a great day, she is going through a bad health scare and to top it off she is fighting with her cousin who is trying to get his hands on her organic farm . What she didn't know was what was going to happen in a matter of 24 hours and the solution to the problem could be the man that she has secretly wanted for awhile now. Deacon is the man who can be the man that can help her out, Will they be able to come sort of agreement and finally realize that they are meant to be together.

   This is Riley's book and man it is funny. Riley is a strong willed woman who actually does have a soft side but she doesn't show it too often .There is also kind of a sadness to her that you just want to hug her . She just comes off as combative most of the time , you really just want to shake her .  Deacon is a sweet guy who has been pining for Riley for awhile . He has been hurt before and just wants to be a good dad to his daughters. He is a good guy but he does have his flaws also. They are so cute together even when they are fighting. 

   This is the second book in the series and it was a good read, I must say that this book kind of had me a little upset . Riley was hard to really like she was just so hard headed at the beginning . She did redeem herself and you will start to like her . Over all this is a fun little read and you will fall in love with the characters . There is a little bit of drama in the book about a lump in the breast but over all you will have a fun time reading this book .You could read it alone but its such a short read that you could read both books in the series in one evening . I think these would be a great summer read .

  Serenity is trying to stay safe in the midst of of the bombing in Hinesville. With no memories of what happened she is in the race for her life . While chaos is running rampart NIcolaitanes is still on his rise to global domination on becoming the president of the world . But what is he going to do for mankind as he rises . Genera Ludlow is having second thoughts about Dark Angel . It is not doing things as was promised and the voice he hears is whispering that war is the right way to go to get rid of the evilness in the world . Will these three cross paths and will the world survive the end of days. 

 In the second installment of this series we get to dive deeper into each of the main characters .Serenity is fighting for her life and even with amnesia she is still a fighter . She is being protected by three people who all want what is best for the world . They have found their faith and want to have peace .  General Ludlow is well it seems like he is going crazy between the voice telling him that war was essential and his guilt is gnawing at him. He just doesn't know what he should be doing  everything just seems wrong . You start to hope that he is going to be ok . Then there is the man behind it all Nicoliatines , he is on a power trip on his way to being ruler of the world. You really don't know how to take him he is very charismatic  and everyone seems to love him . He is really not what he is portraying a real man hiding behind the mask . You really start to wonder what his true intentions are .  Is he truly evil or is there some thing redeeming in him way down deep 

  This is the second book in the series and starts right where book one left off .The author really dives deep into each character and their faith or the lack of faith. The author has a way of writing that will have you thinking about your own faith and what you believe in . This story goes really fast with each character really getting to the nitty gritty of what is going on . The story has a vibe like the stand . We have the good and the evil of Revelations . This series wil have you on the edge of your seat and have you thinking of how faith and God are in your life . So if you want a thought provoking series check it out .

   Good morning all , we made it to Wednesday and heading to the weekend . Today I have book two in the Death Island series . THE DISCOVERY  by Kelsey Ketch

                      MY REVIEW 

  They finally have made it to Death Island and things well aren't going so good. Meriden is being haunted by dreams of a Mayan woman's death . The death in the dream has Meriden worried thinking that it foreshadows her own impending death. On top of that pirates are chasing them around the island to get the gold .  But she isn't the only one person having those dreams . Gregory is having those same dreams and also. Will they survive the island and the supernatural forces that are swirling around there.

  Meriden is such a strong woman who knows how to fight and take care of herself . She along with the guys are trying to find their way around the island . They are running into some things that just aren't of this world. The characters are so well written and complex . The island alone is its own character with all the eerie stuff going on . Meriden has grown so much and can really take care of herself .  Gregory wants to keep Meriden safe and has growing feeling for her. That he hopes she has the same feelings . The cast of characters has grown we get to see the pirates that are chasing them and well they aren't the nicest of men . We also get to meat the Mayan god of death and he is just pure evil . 

  This story is full of action and adventure the author does a great job describing every aspect of the island. The story is full of suspense and had me on the edge of me seat most of the time. There is also a little bit of romance that the author slips in between all the supernatural and swash buckling that is going on.  Honestly to tell you the truth I liked this book a little bit more then book one. I felt we really got to know Gregory and his back story in this book . Which I really liked finally got to see more of him . So if you want a series that is packed full of pirates , supernatural beings and a little bit of romance . Check it out the series will keep you entertained until the end .

                      MY REVIEW 

    Elle growing up in First land , doesn't know she is the last heir to the Takra throne . She is a princess and doesn't remember anything except that she is in love with Simon . But instead of Simon coming to pick her up it was her friend Sasha who isn't what she appears to be . She is there to protect and keep them both safe . All they want to do is get home and they aren't the only one . Patch finds them and is entwined with them . Will they be able to figure out what is going on and hopefully stay safe and get the princess back to her home . 

  This is a laugh out loud read . The characters are so well written and complex . Elle is a sweet girl who just wants to marry Simon and live happily ever after . She is sweet, kind and just a little naive .  Sasha is more then meets the eye, she is strong and a friend for life . But she is also a warrior that is there to protect young Elle. She kind of stole the show for me .She took over and just won my heart . There are so many good characters in this story you will find one that you will love . 

  This is a fun, fast read, I love these two authors way of writing . They can write dark and light and funny. This is the light and funny side of them. There were times in this book where I actually snorted out loud .  The story is interesting and the characters are so much fun to read .  I can't wait to see where the authors take the characters . So if you want a laugh out loud read check it out.

  When Tate comes home after a nasty divorce and opens a cafe. She meets the man of her dreams or the dreams of him being a sperm donor. When her book club friends encourage her to go after her brothers best friend . All things comical ensue . There are feelings old and new that arise . Will they be able to get through to the real feelings in their lives

  The characters are hilarious and well written. Tate is a middle aged woman that has had a rough marriage and she just wants a child to help her through . She is a fun loving woman who thinks she is weak but she is really strong . She is also kind of horrible person in the way she treats Jim after they sleep together . She really wasn't very nice to him at all . Jim is the sweet home town guy that every girl wants to fall in love with . He is tall , sexy and sweet  and he would do almost anything for you and take care of you . They are a cute couple together . I love the older woman younger man angle . 

 This is a fun, fast read that you can read in a couple of hours. The characters are fun and complex . The author takes us from flirting to hot and heavy in a matter of pages . This is the first book I have read from this author and found them enjoyable . The author has a way of making you laugh and actually snort a few times . I wish though it was just a little longer for the person in me that wants to see happily ever after . So if you want a fun fast read this is the book for you . I mean who can resist bacon not this girl .

  Good morning all , its a windy, sunny day here . Today I have a good mystery for your reading enjoyment .  GHOSTS AND SHADOWS ( book 4 in the Detective Cadillac Holland mystery series )

                     MY REVIEW 

    When detective Cooter ( Cadillac) Holland has sworn to uphold the law on home land and foreign soil. When he finds out there is a war brewing on both sides of the border . A shadow government is threatening his life yet again . He is forced to bring out his skills he learned from the special forces training and go after the ones starting the wars . Can New Orleans handle the onslaught that is about to happen or will it go down burning . 

  This story has some great characters to fall in love with .Cadillac Holland is a man who doesn't take no for an answer. He will do anything to keep his family and friends safe. We get to see him at his best and his worst as he fights the foes that are trying to take him down . He is trying to put the random things happening around him together . He is strong but also he is hiding something in his heart that is in his past . He is a great puzzle solver that will do what it takes to get the job done. We also get to meet his best friend  Tony who Cadillac knew form Iraq. They are such a good team Tony helps keep the criminals at bay . Together these two are a great pair that can do almost anything to stop the wars that are brewing .  There are so many other characters that you will fall in love with . 

   This is the first book of the series I have read from this author and I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are well written and complex and you can't help but caring for each and every one of them. The story is set in New Orleans which is a character all on its own . There is also a sup plot surrounding food . It plays a big part in this story .  This is a long book but you can read it in a weekend . I had a bit of trouble at the beginning but after about 4 chapters I was hooked and couldn't put it down . So if you want a really good mystery with some great odd ball characters check it out . I promise you will like it .

  Good afternoon all today I have the second book in the PLANET SEEKERS series . TEAM TAORUTI  by Tonya Cannariato.

                  MY REVIEW 

  When Dr Marina Spitzer and Dr. Leonardo Federici are pushed through and worm hole back to earth . Where they find her best friend Katje and also find the earth is wiping them from the face of the earth . Reporting that they have died . There is a cabal on earth that is taking over slowly . Rina nd Leo need to find out why they are trying to take over earth and try and figure out what is happening before its too late . .

I truly liked Rina and Leo in this book . Rina is such a strong woman and she is out to find out what is happening with the earth. She is smart and resilient . She cares deeply for all things nature .Underneath her tough exterior there beats a heart that is tender and caring . Leo is her rock and is a strong man . He will do almost anything to help Rina out he has a soft side . Katje is a fun character , we don't get a lot from her at first she is a scientist that is hidden away in an under the water paradise . But like all good characters there is more to her and when it happens it actually shocks everyone.

  This is a book that you can settle down and read in an evening . The characters are well written and complex and the story is a potent one of what can happen in today's world. The author has a way of writing that will have you hooked by the end of chapter one .  I really liked this addition to the series and i felt the story moved very fast and I was on the edge of my seat for most of it . It can be read as a stand alone but if you really want to get to know the characters check out book one . So check it out I promise you will not be disappointed .

  Adanya is bent on revenge , she wants to kill the overlord Xarrix but he has other plans for her. He black mails her into marrying him . From the safety of his mask Xarrix has the whole galaxy scared of him . When a prophecy is foretold and the one that is suppose to kill him .Is his destiny and will bring peace to galaxy. Will they be able to find their way to each other or will one of them die before peace comes to them.

 This is a space aged retelling of a fairy tale . The characters are well written . Adanya well she is a strong woman who honestly is her own worst enemy sometimes . She is bent on revenge and nothing else .There is a sadness to her also that she can't hide. Xarrix is well he is not a nice man when we first meet him. There has been so much that went on in his life . He hides his scares behind a mask and really doesn't trust anyone . There is much more to him and we get to see him become a better man through out the book . We also get to meet some characters that well you really don't know if they are good or bad. They are such a fun couple to read and you will fall in love with them. 

  This is a fun read where you get the vibe of Beauty and the Beast . The author has a fun style of writing that will have you hooked by the third chapter . The characters are so much fun to read. Adanya is so bent on revenge you want to hug her and say everything is ok . The author did a great job with her and the other characters . This is read has it all revenge a mystery and romance yes it has romance .  So if you want a fun fantasy read check it out . You will have a great time reading it

     Meriden is living the life that she doesn't really want . All she wants to is work in her fathers shop and keep things going . Until the day a pirate ship attacks her sleepy town they are after her and the secrets they think she has . She has no idea what they are after until the day she finds the book that is bound to her by her blood . It is the adventure she is looking for . Along with the man who helped save her . Gregory Wilson is smitten with her and signs up to be beside her as they hunt for the treasure . Will he be able protect her from the ghosts of her past and the curse that is running in her veins 

  If you like pirate stories this is one for you to try. The characters are well written and complex. Meriden is a strong woman who is stuck in a life that she doesn't want to be part of . She has been an outsider her whole life only wanting to apprentice in her dads shop. Until the day it all changes and she goes off on an adventure that makes her realize that there is more to her and her life then the man that broke her heart and the father that died on a sea journey . Gregory well he is in my opinion a mess . He has been held captive and almost killed a few times . He is tortured and you really feel for him . He also has anger issues but when he knows in his heart that he will do anything to protect the one that he found and helped after an attack . They are surrounded by good men and men that want nothing more then string them both up . A typical pirate ship . 

   This is a story is such a fun read, I sat down and read it in an evening . The characters are well written and complex . The story is fun and come from the two points of view Meriden and Greg . You get to see whatever goes on in their eyes .  There is a lot of mythology that is in the book which adds a depth to the story . There were moments in the book where I really wanted to slap both Meriden and Greg upside the heads because they were both being really stubborn, but with any good character that too passes . This is a story that can be read in an evening and it has a mystery and intrigue and a little promise or romance . So if you want a fun book that you can read in an evening with a cliff hanger .Check it out .

                     MY REVIEW

  It all starts with a voice to a young girl that really sets the world on its last days. When a child is born to bring on the end of times. Serenity is hears the voice and joins a covert group and is is out to find the evil . When the same voice suggests to General Ludlow that this war will stop the evil. The operation Dark Angel will bring on the rise NIcolaitane Balac.

  This book is full of characters that are very well written and complex . Nicolaitane is well I believe that he is the anti Christ that is coming . He is such a charismatic man who has risen to power . You can't help but like him .  There are so many great characters that will have you flipping pages.

  This is a long book but it doesn't seem like it as you start . the characters are well written and the story well written . This is a Christian telling of the story of revelations . This has a the vibe the stand going on , the good versus evil . I will tell you that it did take me a bit to get into the story but as soon as I got into the story it flew by . This book will have you asking the all important questions about God and the world. With the world the way it is right now and what is happening hits too close to home. This is an author that I am going to check out . So if you want a new retelling of the end of days this is the book for you , so check it out.

                     MY REVIEW 

    Graham is an angel that has fallen from grace and sent to Earth to fight the demons . When he decided to stop a woman from being hurt and walks her home , he is smitten with her sister.  When he finds out that he has to find the demon Kraven and dispatch him . Kraven is closer then he thinks when Kraven starts to target the woman that Graham has feeling for . Will Graham be able to keep everyone safe and send Kraven back to the depths of hell. 

  The characters in this first book are very well written.  Graham is a no nonsense guy who sticks to the books as he is trying to catch demons on earth. Oh I didn't tell you yes Graham is a Angel who has fallen to Earth for something he did in heaven so many years ago. He is the strong silent type that just wants to hopefully earn his wings back . There is a sadness in him that you can feel but as you go through the book you see him grow and become such a strong man . Sierra is the one woman that sparked his attention if forever . She is strong willed and sassy along with her son they become more to Graham that he needs to protect for the Kraven. They are such great characters you will love them from the very start

 This is a book you can read in a weekend , the authors do pack a lot into this read . We really get to know the main character and what he has gone through .  This really isn't a light fun read but once you get into the story you will be in love with Graham. He is complex and you really don't get a read on him at first. I can't wait to see where the authors are going to take these characters . I actually really like them and the story is a bitter sweet story that will have you wanting to hug and tell them that everything will be ok . I really want to see if Sierra and Graham will have a relationship . So if you want a new series that is a fast read for the weekend check it out .

                    MY REVIEW 

  Jolie and the gang are almost out of the abyss and feeling are coming out . Bryn and Sinjin are starting to reconnect and Jolie is torn between two men. Emma and Stone are falling for each other more even when the enemy is chasing them back down the mountain .  Will everyone survive to finally see each other again

   There is so much that goes on in this installment. Jolie and Bryn are fighting to get free. They are fighting hard to come out of the Abyss . I will say the characters are just getting better . Emma is finally coming into her power and Stone is falling in love with her hard .  Rand is stuck in his own mess that he is finding harder and harder to get out of . I love reading Bryn and Sinjin fight the feelings they have for each other . They know they belong together but there is so much hurt between them . I love how the author is taking these characters and bringing them to their mutual enemy with their own ways of getting there. 

   This is a great installment of the series and it is a fast read. There is a lot going on in this installment we find out the reason why Jolie was held in the abyss for those ten years . We get to see love start to bloom between Emma and Stone.  The author really can tell a story with these character and we get to see them grow with each new installment. I can't wait to see what happens next with these characters . If you want a great series to read check them out you will love them .

    When Cole Hartman is found out by a group of people that want information from him. He was captured by a group that want something from him and will do anything to get it. Enter Lydia the woman who is going to get the information out of Cole one way or another . She really isn't the person Cole thinks she is . She becomes his obsession and he will do anything to find her and make her his . 

  Oh my this book gave me all the feels trust me , this is the book I have been waiting for . Cole has been a big part of the later books in this series and he has always been mysterious . He is a loner  who has been hurt in the past . He is oh so alpha , sexy as sin but also been hurt I think sometimes beyond repair . Lydia well at first you just kind a want to slap her over and over . There are things that she does that are well not good . She is good at hiding her emotions to do what she has to do . Underneath the façade there is a woman who has been hurt and wants revenge. They are such a great couple and when they  are together they are dynamite . 

  This was a bitter sweet read for me . I have really loved the characters in this series and actually this series is the first series I have read from this author . I tried to read this book slowly but I just couldn't the author really put me through the ringer . The characters are so well written and complex you just really want to figure them out . I was on the edge of my seat most of the time while reading this book . Other times I was laughing and then there were times where it was hot, hot , hot . I am sad that this series is over but also very happy that the everyone finally got their HEA'S . If you like dark stories with characters that you can't help but love check out the DELIVER series .

From there they forge a friendship, Zara become his lucky charm and he became her best friend . Zara knows there is something going on that Jake won't talk about but they never knew what was going to happen . Will Zara be able to keep herself and Jake alive and will Valcoast win the championship .

   This is a sweet read that you can read in an evening . The  characters are well written and you will really like the two leads . Yes to answer your questions this is a sports love book but there is so much going on that will have you reading well into the evening.  This author has a fun way of writing that will have you giggling and on the edge of your seat most of the book . I really hope that she writes a series with this book cause there are some great characters that are screaming for their stories told in this book . So if you want a fun read check it out .
