LAST BOOK FOR THE NOVELLAS OF READER ROUND UP

   Good afternoon all I am back and it is day 7 of reader round up . This is the last book of the novella part of the round up and we end it with mermaids .  THE SEA MAGE ( The NightShade Guild book 10) by Louisa Bacio,

                  MY REVIEW 

  Serena  is more then your California beach girl . She is a mermaid that loves the water but lives on land. Things are going pretty good until the day she is entrusted with the protection of an elven princess who is a toddler .  Things start to get hairy when zombie pirates start to chase her and the toddler . She entrusts the help of her best friend and and leader of the sea dragons , and no they aren't a motorcycle gang . Will they be enough to protect this precious little one and keep the darkness at bay and save the world . They must conquer the enemy and keep themselves safe . 

 This mermaid book has some really good characters living inside the pages . Serena is a mermaid and a mage . She is strong and sexy and oh so funny . She is one of those people that you would instantly like if you met her . She can be your friend or your foe . When push comes to shove she will do anything to protect those that she cares about . Peder is well he is such a cool guy . He is sweet and sexy and there are things that he is hiding like he is the  king of the Sea dragons . They are destined to be together but they have so much to do before they can even try to be together. They are very intense characters with complex back grounds . 

 This is a novella that you can sit down and read in an evening . The author really paints a picture with her story. This is the first book I have read from this author and I was liking her writing style.  The characters are well written and complex and the story moves at a fast pace . I did feel a little confused at the beginning about what was going on but I think if I read the other books I would have a better idea . Over all I did enjoy the story and once I got into it it flowed fast . So if you want a fun book with lots of twists and turns check it out.
